The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses

Activities & Attractions: Vist the Terracotta Army. Our guide and driver will help you avoid the overcrowded tour buses and slow-moving tour groups. Prepare to be amazed by 7,000 life-sized terracotta warriors laid out in an actual battle formation, which have been buried underground for more than 2,200 years. (The recommended visiting time is 2.5 hours, and the area is mainly flat.) The museum tour covers three original pits: Pit 1, which represents the main force; Pit 2, known as the Flexible Troupe; and Pit 3, serving as the Command Center. Undoubtedly, this is a valuable resource for exploring the history of China's first dynasty, the Qin Dynasty.

The Terracotta Army Museum is a must-see when at XiAn. Andy is very knowledgeable and friendly, and he explained the history of the discovery of the Army really well. It was a comfortable ride to and from the site in a 7-seater van with plenty of space. Lunch is included in the tour, and we ate at a restaurant right outside the museum. Overall, would highly recommend.

I booked the airport transfer and side trip, and it was a great decision. The transfer was prompt and comfortable. Then, at the Folk culture village, we got to try local handicrafts, meet friendly artisans. It added so much depth to my visit, making the layover time truly memorable. The off-peak, tailor-made one-day tour in Xi'an and to the Terracotta Army was a breath of fresh air. Avoiding the tourist rush, we had a peaceful visit to the iconic army, truly savoring every detail. Our personalized itinerary also included a stop at a charming local teahouse.
