5.00It took me 3 hours to clear customs in the middle of the night. Guide said he had never had to wait that long before and even checked to make sure I was OK. Would recommend for anyone arriving in Shanghai.

2.00The guide and driver made no attempt to welcome or even speak with us. They were clearly at the airport to collect and drop off. We asked a few questions but realised this was pointless so just sat back and watched the view from the window.
