5.00This was a great trip for us, a train trip to a medium sized lake and to a very beautiful, well maintained and large traditional garden without crowds, followed by a walk on the ancient city wall, and then a swift walk through a cute shopping street. Seeing these places with a fantastic, knowledgeable and easy-to-get-along-with guide was wonderful. The guide was skilled with time management. It was just my partner and I with the guide, so the sightseeing was adapted for our interest (no interest in shopping! ). I would recommend the trip based on the above. Downsides are below - knowing in advance is helpful. Need to know: (1) the trains selected were not fast ones. The first was faster and fine, but the return trip was a train that stopped about 10 times. For the amount we paid for the trip, I would have expected that extra hour or so to have been spent on-site - since I suspect it could have been. (2) The advertising photos display, and some reviews mention, calligraphy and a show. These are no longer happening - the third party vendor is no longer in business. (3) The lunch was pleasant but I would not call it gourmet by any means, and it was not in any picturesque location or anything. (4) Take your own toilet paper if you need it. Railway stations have squat toilets with no paper.

5.00Amazing day. Our guide Jordan picked us up from the hotel in luxury limo to the bullet train. 1st class seats to Linhai then Jordan took us for a walk around East Lake. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Jordan is a great guide, telling us of the culture and history of what we were seeing. Following lunch in a local restaurant we went to Jiangnan Great Wall where we walked a section of the wall. Jordan again informing us of the history and culture. Following that we had a walk along Ziyang old street. Think dygone alley from Harry Potter. You can taste or buy almost anything. It was then time to head home on the bullet train and another luxury limo back to the hotel. We thoroughly recommend this trip and a big thank you to Jordan for making it so special.

5.00The Great Wall was a beautiful experience! And our tour guide Summer was so knowledgeable and very good at her job. This is a must visit and if you are lucky enough to have summer as well it’s a plus.

5.00Emma was a very helpful and kind tour guide for our family of 6, the stops we made were very informative and Emma was very knowledgeable and spoke great English. The Southern Great Wall was what we expected and more. The rest of the tour was good fun and the bullet train was an experience in itself. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a day trip and some great variety with an outstanding tour guide. Thanks for the treats along the way Emma!

5.00Dipper our guide was excellent, he gave us a lovely commentary on every thing we did . He took us to an authentic Chinese restaurant for lunch where we ate and drunk as the Chinese do. Dipper was with us from early morning to late at night when he delivered us back to our hotel . He was very informative about when we needed our passports and brought us a coffee from luck in coffee I would highly recommend this trip and when you do ask for dipper x

4.00Jenny our guide was kind thoughtful and helpful. We had a problem with double booked train seats, but sorted things out quickly and quietly. The rest of the trip was great, especially lunch, where the local food seemed never ending. Jenny ensured we had enough time and each stop and was professional in her job. Thanks

5.00I had an amazing day out with Jordan, everything was perfectly arranged from the pick up to the drop off. I loved the history and the in-depth explanations of the Chinese culture and what meanings most things have. I would do the tour again with my husband next time as I know that the Taichi and Feng Shui elements of the culture will resonate with him too. Thank you for a wonderful day.

5.00Our tour guide, Summer, was fantastic! She was knowledgeable about the area, willing to answer all of our questions, and her English was great. We did this trip on our first day in China and it was the perfect way to start our stay here. We were able to learn about the history of the area, try lots of local foods, and the sight seeing was amazing! Summer took care of everything and organized all of the trains, taxis, and meals and gave us suggestions for places to check out during the rest of our stay. We felt safe the entire time while being able to have an authentic experience. One Million/10 would recommend. If Summer sees this, could she upload the photo she took with us? Our time with her was great and we would love to have that photo to remember our time traveling with her!

5.00What a lovely trip, our first experience of the bullet train, and it was a good one. The whole trip was very well organised , our tour guide dipper was outstanding. He gave us a wealth of information and knew a lot of history of the wall and ancient city…… very detailed and he took us to an authentic Chinese restaurant for lunch ,,,, I would definitely recommend this trip. And if you book it ask for dipper he was brilliant.
