What visitors can see at Shaolin Temple: Shaolin Temple Main Courtyard Buildings: The "Shaolin Temple" plaque inscribed by Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, plus structures like Mountain Gate Hall, Heavenly King Hall, Main Hall, Scripture Repository, Abbot's Chamber and Lixue Pavilion. Also, the imposing statues of Two Guardian Generals (Heng and Ha), Four Heavenly Kings and Eighteen Arhats. Ancient Ginkgo Trees: 1,500-year-old ginkgos in the temple, vibrant and complementing the red walls and green glazed tiles. Shaolin Temple Pagoda Forest: Over 240 pagodas from the Tang Dynasty to now, China's largest and most numerous ancient pagoda complex. Notably, the 30th abbot Master Suxi's pagoda has carvings of airplanes, steamships and mobile phones; the 24th abbot Master Xiaoshan's wooden pagoda (appointed by Ming Emperor Jiajing) is also worth seeing.
