Loved it, it was so amazing! We saw a Quetzal and so many other birds. You could see the passion they had for birding. We had a bad taste in our mouth from Manuel Antonio because of all the scammers, but this was nothing like that. They actually care about what they're doing!

This was an amazing experience! Johnny was my guide. We found almost 40 different species of birds. He helped me with photographs. He was extremely knowledgeable and nice to hike with. I highly recommend this bird tour!

Oscar was an incredibly knowledgeable guide. I have never had a tour guide that was able to answer such a wide range of questions so accurately and in such detail. He is also incredibly nice and welcoming. If you like birds or plants or bugs or ever wondered what monkey pee smells like then you gotta take this tour. He is an expert guide. Just watching how efficient he is at locating the wildlife was worth the money not to mention the beautiful birds we were able to see during the tour. Highly recommend.

The tour with Oscar was absolutely fantastic. At first he gives you the choice of two parcs. We choose Curi-Cancha. Besides that we were very lucky that day and saw basically all birds we wished for, has Oscar a great eye and ear for it. He has a perfect balance of sharing information, spotting, pace, etc. It felt very comfortable and it was absolutely worth every Euro. Thanks again Oscar!

First of all, our guide Oscar was super friendly and he knows the park like the back of his hand!! This visit was superb! We had the goal of seeing a Quetzal and we saw not only one but several and took several very beautiful photos!! The knowledge our guide imparted to us was really interesting and enriching! We recommend it 100%

We had a wonderful time with Johnny! He was so knowledgeable of the birds and where to find them and you could tell that he really had a passion for it. He was so quick at finding birds and setting up his scope so we could have an amazing view. He also had binoculars for us to use. We highly recommend this tour, it made our trip to Monteverde!

We had a great experience with Oscar. He is a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable, approachable, helpful, and ethical. We had two tours with him, a private birdwatching tour and a group night walking tour. Through the birdwatching tour, we saw toucans, quetzal, motmot, parrots, golden browed chlorophonia, Euphonia, howler monkey, viper, agouti, and so many more! Oscar knows where the animals are at and the best ways to watch them. He would not only show you the animals but also share about their habits and why they are at where they are. Through the night tour, we also saw a lot of sleeping birds, sloth, vipers, and a lot any animals. Also, he is very ethical and would rather cancel/postpone if cannot provide the best experience to clients. He loves animals and his country to heart. I would strongly recommend Oscar. Also, do a private tour if you can!

Sergio was an awesome guide, highly recommend! We were lucky to have him for a private birdwatching tour and a night tour, and he was fantastic in both. His knowledge of wildlife is immense, and his bird identification is top tier. On top of that, he's a great person to hang out with. Definitely made our time in Monteverde special, and booking with Nasua tours and Sergio was a highlight of our trip.

Oscar is an exceptional guide. Thanks to him, we were able to admire quetzal and many other birds and animals. He speaks passionately about forests, animals, nature and its protection. He answered all our questions and in addition, thanks to him we were able to bring back extraordinary photos. He is undoubtedly the best naturalist guide we have met, in Costa Rica ... or elsewhere! We simply did not see the time pass. We also booked a night tour with him and here too we were satisfied. We even got to see a family of armadillos at the end of the visit! We highly recommend Oscar!

We did the birding tour with our Gide Oscar and we just loved it. We’ve learned so much about the (endemic) birds and also about their habitat and the cloud forest. If you’re looking for a birding tour: stop now and book with nasua tours!
