The usual route that we take is from Panajachel we take route 1, passing the towns of Las Cruces, the taking the Interamerican Highway, through the towns of Sumpango, Patzicia, El Tejar Chimaltenango, Sumpango, San Lucas, and arriving to Guatemala City. We can make a stop halfway to the city to use the restrooms, buy a dring or snack or just stretch out for 5 to 10 minutes.
