Starting our journey in Shamakhi, we will visit the historical Juma Mosque, which dates back to the 8th century and is one of the oldest mosques in Azerbaijan. Juma Mosque
The initial target for conquest should be the ancient city of Shemakha, which served as the capital of Azerbaijan centuries ago. One notable landmark in this city is the first mosque in Azerbaijan, constructed in the 8th century. This mosque has the capacity to accommodate up to 2000 worshippers simultaneously.
As we continue our journey, we will make our way through the mountains and make a stop at the Ismailli region's forest. A highlight of this stop is the hanging bridge that connects two high mountains, offering impressive views of the surrounding nature on either side.

3.00The sites and scenes were great, but it was too much for a day and we did not get back to Baku until after midnight. I would recommend doing Sheki as a separate day trip as we did not get to see or do much there.
