5.00Nevin is a great tour guide. It. Was an. Easy walk and he took us all around this charming town with its mix of medieval and modern. He brought the history,culture, sports, and architecture of Ireland (particularly Kilkenny) to life. We saw all the major sites and Nevin makes the history fun with his humor, friendliness, stories and magic. I learned so much about Nevin’s beloved hometown of Kilkenny from its award winning animation studio Cartoon Saloon (Puffin Rock, Wolfwalkers), the national sport of hurling, best places to eat and drink, the witch of Kilkenny, the amazing castle, the Butler family and famous knight, William Marshall! We had a small group of 9 and Nevin took an interest in each person, answered questions and all with a smile. Highly recommended!

5.00I had the pleasure of joining a Shenanigan Walk in Kilkenny. It was both informative and enjoyable. It was great to go around with someone with such a personal knowledge of the area. In fact when Nevin noticed I was keen on statues, he added more into the route.

5.00My husband and I enjoyed all the history, fun and shenanigans with Nev. His knowledgeable humor and fun personality plus a few tricks up his sleeves leaves for an immensely entertaining tour. We learned so much and took loads of great pics. We highly recommend this tour on your trip to Kilkenny!

5.00This was an absolute delight! Something for everyone. Just when our kids would start to zone out on historical information, they'd be charmed with a magic trick or a funny story. It's a great way to see a large part of the city, learn some fun info, and see inside some of the gorgeous buildings. Would absolutely recommend if you will be in Kilkenny!

5.00This is such a fun walking tour. We don’t often do walking tours because they can be boring. Not this one. Nevin is informative and funny. I’m so glad I read personal suggestions on Ireland Facebook page because that’s how I found Shenanigans. And I highly recommend Kilkenny. We’ve been to Ireland several times but first time in Kilkenny. It’s a wonderful city. So Kilkenny and Shenanigans two 👍
