Transportation to/from attractions - This is mainly a walking tour, but an Oyster Card or travel card is required for the London Underground to make it easier to move between locations.

The Game is afoot... It doesn't matter if you are a die hard traditionalist or a modern BBC "Sherlock" fan. I am a nerd for everything Sherlock Holmes and have got you covered! This tour is designed to give you details on the history and locations of the original Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and important filming locations from the recent BBC series. This tour also covers some great London landmarks like St Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, The Strand, and the place where William Wallace (Braveheart) was executed. Starting at Embankment station you will be given an overview of the traditional stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle before your guide takes you to the Sherlock Holmes Pub (a location from Hound of the Baskervilles) The upper rooms contain a recreation of Sherlock's sitting room at 221b Baker Street. Then its on to Scotland Yard and the location where Inspector's Lestrade and Hopkins work. Not that Holmes has a particularly high opinion of the Yard Detectives!

Now its time to see a famous location from the BBC Sherlock series. Remember the scene where Holmes and Watson have just met and are having dinner. They spot a suspicious taxi, Watson leaves his walking stick behind, and they run through the streets trying to catch the Taxi. We will make a stop at that very restaurant!

5.00Excellent tour with Richard!! This is for both the clásico Holmes fan as well as the newer BBC - show fan! We were so happy with all the inside knowledge from our guide. We had a younger Sherlock fan in our group and Richard spent a lot of time telling our youngest kid about age appropriate things from the Sherlock TV and movies, as well as the classic stories. His little known facts about Sherlock are really a huge bonus and we loved every minute. He had great knowledge of the museum before we got there, and even suggested other BBC filming locations we might want to visit later in our trip. Thanks so much for an amazing experience!!

5.00My friends and I really enjoyed this tour. Richard was clearly a fan of the subject and enjoyed showing us around. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to show us some other historical landmarks around London. We plan on taking other tours with Richard when we next get back to the UK.

5.00Our tour guide, Richard, was extremely kind and knowledgeable. We had a great time walking around parts of London experiencing destinations that were vital to both the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle novels and short stories as well as BBC’s Sherlock. In addition, gave us some insight on other locations that were part of Harry Potter and Charles Dickens. Highly recommend for fans!

5.00I’m a teen who loves Sherlock Holmes especially the hit B.B.C. show. The guide (I think his name was Richard) was extremely friendly and knew things that even I (a pretty big fan) didn’t know! The Tour was exactly as described, was about three and a half hours and ended at the Sherlock Holmes Museum!
