Tulamben is one of the most famous dive sites for certified divers fascinated about wreck diving. Here we can see the USAT Liberty shipwreck as well as other artificial dive sites in hot waters of approximately 29 degrees all year round.

Tulamben is the ideal location for scuba divers passionate of shipwrecks and shore dives. This trip is specially designed for certified divers. In Tulamben we can spot the famous USAT Liberty shipwreck torpedoed in January 1942. It's an amazing full day diving trip on Bali’s east coast. Diving in Tulamben is ideal for beginner and advanced certified divers. The day begins at the dive center with the morning briefing after which we will be heading to Tulamben on a 2 and half hour car trip. Bottom times as well as surface intervals are scheduled for 45-60 minutes. In between dives we will be enjoying freshly prepared snacks and drinks. After the dives are finished, a specially designed diver's lunch will be served. The trip back to Sanur begins after lunch is finished with a return time scheduled for approximately 5-6pm at the dive center.

5.00Neptune Scuba Diving are a very professional and client friendly organisation. I was picked up on time from Legian for the trip to their facilities at Sanur. All the paperwork complete, tried on my dive gear and off we went on the 2.5-3 hour trip to the dive site. Once there, we had another quick brief from the dive master Nori, and off we went to dive on the liberty wreck. You have to be very careful because it is a beach dive but the beach is volcanic rock so easily to fall over and hurt yourself. In the water, who could believe it took over 9kg of weight for me to submerge. Nori kept adding weights and finally a rock!!! The dive was interesting looking at what is left of the wreck. The second dive was cut short when I had a coughing attack and swallowed lots of seawater. Nori looked after me back to shore. A demonstration of just how professional and how seriously they take safety as a major concern. Thanks to Nori and the team for what was still an enjoyable day.

5.00Myself & my 11 year old son did 2 dives at Tulamben Shipwreck with Gede. He & our driver looked after us so well from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. I would 100% recommend this Dive Centre as the team are friendly, welcoming & Knowledgeable. We enjoyed our day and have memories to last a lifetime. Will definitely be in touch the next time we visit Bali!

5.00Julian and the crew were amazing. We dived in Bali twice and both times were with Neptune! Agus, our DM, was very helpful with everything from equipment setup, taking care of us during the dives, explaining the sites etc. Well done Neptune!

5.00Piyo and his team arranged two days of diving for us, we visited the US Liberty Shipwreck Tulamben, Manta Point Nusa Penida & Crystal Bay Nusa Penida. As a beginner diver, Piyo provided support and guidance underwater which made the whole experience comfortable and truly enjoyable. For each dive, he guided us along the whole way, we were able to see colourful coral reefs and marine life. This was definitely the highlight of our visit, thank you for a wonderful experience and we'll be back!

5.00Amazing dive center with an amazing instructor, Julian was great to provide all the information and arranged such an amazing instructor Dhika. The shipwreck in Tulamben is definitely worth going even with a long drive. dive with Neptune made my Bali trip feels amazing. Absolutely will come back again for more diving spots.

5.00Amazing course. Mind blowing service. THE BEST and I kid you not, THE BEST DIVE CENTRE I have ever visited! Superbly well organised, from the moment of punctual hotel pick up, very structured briefing, GREAT DIVE, through home made biscuits, amazing lunch, COMPLIMENTARY doughnuts & beer & THE MOST traditional BAKSO (local soup). I have booked a deep speciality with Julian & Vino. Both gentlemen are amazingly organised. Considering recent earthquakes in Lombok this centre was extremely busy, but everything was under control of Julian. After completing the speciality I have decided to actually stay with this amazing bunch of people and do a wreck dive spec. But that is another service and deserves separate review. *RECOMMEND* Joe, Dhika, Vino, Aaron & Julian! You guys rock! Best wishes from Ivona & Greg

5.00I wanted to take my advanced open water diver certificate while on Bali and found Neptune here on TripAdvisor and I am really glad I did. Yoga and Julian were such big helpers, and especially Julian made everything happen for me in a busy time of high season but made sure that I could do it in time and get it all done in one day. THANK YOU! I had three amazing dives in Tulamben with Edy, and even though it ended up being a late day because of traffic coming home, both Julian and Edy made sure I got home safely. Came back to the diving centre the day after and took care of stamps etc., where I had some great talks with the other very sweet staff. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone!!

5.00Wonderful discovery of Liberty in Tulamben but also in Nusa Penida (manta point) in Crystalbai in Pandangbai..... Passing by whitetip sharks, bamboo sharks, turtles, giant manta rays, renopia (so rare)...I ended up visiting Liberty which was impressive by its ecosystem. The Neptune Club is super professional in terms of Welcoming, Professionalism and small touches such as coffee, tea, fresh juice, biscuits of the day and various delicious meals. A welcoming and smiling team as well as super dive masters in coaching. For me the top level so far. Thanks to Joe and Julian as well as Dhika and JoJOR.
