Our Story

We’re an adventure-loving couple who enjoy hiking, canyoning, skiing, and camping together. After working as canyoning guides near Tokyo, we founded Fujiyama Canyoning Japan in 2024 at the foot of Mt. Fuji.

‍♂️ Yuki (husband) – Born in Kochi Prefecture, Yuki has years of experience in canyoning, rock climbing, skiing and playing piano. A former competitive swimmer, he guides with calm confidence and a deep love for the outdoors.

️ Misa (wife)– Born in Kanagawa, Misa brings warmth and friendly energy to every tour. Her passion for nature and people makes each trip fun, safe, and unforgettable. She loves snowboarding, cooking, eating and mountaineering.

Original T-shirts (¥3,500, S–XXL, charcoal or olive) are available at the canyon. Pre-order by letting us know your preferred size and quantity.

Absolutely amazing experience - I was there in the off season, so I was alone and had Yuki and Misa as my personal guides. They did a great job of guiding me safely through the water, and it was incredible to leap into the water! I would definitely recommend Yuki and Misa if you're looking for something exciting and different to do while in Japan!

A unique experience to add to my trip to Hakone. Misa & Yuki were excellent guides. They made sure I had fun while ensuring all safety precautions. Kudos to their photography skills to also help you capture the moment!

They were super nice! One of the best experiences I had in Japan I definitely recommend. It was very fun climbing and jumping into the water from high rocks. If you’re thinking about doing this, definitely do it.

A once in a lifetime experience. The Fuji rocks with the crystal clear water were majestic. Yuki and Misa were friendly and professional guides. They offered prompt and comfortable transportation. We were so happy we did this!

Yuki and Misa were amazing guides! They were conscientious of safety while still encouraging some thrilling experiences. The views of the Fuji rock with the water were exquisite and memorable. If you’re in the area during a hot season, I would highly recommend this tour.

Superb canyoning trip and a fun one for the family. Not too hard, either, approx 2 hours long. A nice jup of a cliff, some swimming and a little rope spelunkimg by a waterfall. Highly recommended.
