  Yisell picked us up from our accommodation on time and we set off in windy conditions. We arrived in plenty of time to see the light change before it rained. Unfortunately we didn’t get the bright yellow glow of sunrise but did get pretty pre dawn colours and the atmosphere was amazing. Quiet and serene even with other tourists there. We were off a cruise ship and stayed on the island overnight to be able to do this experience and I have absolutely no regrets. We were dropped off at the jetty area where our tenders came in and met up with the crew to continue on with another ship tour that morning.

  THE PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL LANDSCAPE, EVERYTHING DIFFERENT FROM ANYTHING I HAD EVER SEEN. THE MOAIS ARE IMPRESSIVE AND THE HISTORY OF THE PEOPLE WHO LIVED THERE, THEIR CULTURE AND THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS, ARE VERY WORTH IT.

  An incredible introduction to the culture and history of Easter Island. Our guide was engaging and informative with a perfect balance of information. Strongly recommended.

  A really great trip! The guide was super nice and the trip was very informative. The tour also lasted longer than originally planned. Definitely recommended!

  Usually we are weary of independent excursions during a cruise, especially when tender boats are involved, however, the tour through these guys was amazing, our landing on the island was delayed by four hours, due to weather, however, these guys patiently waited for the us, and carried out the tour according to the advertised itinerary, we had a really good time, the were well aware of the ships timings, getting us back in time for the last tender.   Our expectations were fully met. The beautiful weather (two showers we had only during the trip on the bus) and the extremely knowledgeable explanations of our companion Kristina (Kava Kava Tours) contributed significantly to this. The sightseeing points approached for such a day tour show the culture and the difficulties of the creation as well as the conservation effort in an impressive way. It is nice that the cultural connections are maintained through the national park. The tour of almost eight hours was definitely worth it. So all just a positive result.

  Our recent tour of Easter Island with Viator tours was fantastic. Sadly our ship was late docking which meant that our tour was 3 hours late starting!! We were so worried as we knew our Kava Kava tour people would be waiting for us. They were very understanding and made a big effort to ensure that we saw all the sites that had been discussed. Our guide, Nikolas, was born on the island and he not only had great knowledge about it, but he clearly loved his land. We enjoyed him relating stories and especially loved his telling of the Bird man competition while we were at Orongo. The day was brilliant - highly recommended.

  The 2 guides/drivers of the vehicles that were used were very informative, helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful day viewing a beautiful island, lush green and scenic. As for the statues they were amazing. More questions raised than answers given. The male guide told us all the various theories of how, when and why, but the mind boggles, as to how they huge statues were carved, moved and place so strategically. This is an amazing, gobsmacking experience.
