5.00We had a fantastic shore excursion with Cherry Travel during our cruise stop in Crete on July 3rd. Our group of ten from the Majestic Princess was greeted right on time, and everything from start to finish was perfectly organized. The highlights for us were the charming streets of Chania, the peaceful monastery visit, and the lovely beach break — just the right amount of time at each stop. The wine tasting was a delightful surprise and a relaxing way to end the tour. Our guide was warm, informative, and attentive to the group’s pace and interests. Highly recommended for cruise travelers who want to get a real taste of Crete in just a few hours!

5.00I sincerely thank the travel agency “cherry travel”, especially travel manager Julia and wonderful guide Alexander, for the excellently organized tours in Crete! Our family is absolutely delighted with the exciting route through Chania with its stunning Venetian architecture and picturesque promenade. A visit to the Agia Triada monastery, where we were able to get a closer look at the monastic lifestyle, and a charming Cretan village that gave us a sense of true peace and quiet were particularly memorable. The winery was a real gastronomic discovery, and the tasting of local wines left the most vivid experience! The second day of the Rethymno tour, with its cozy narrow streets and rich history, was no less impressive. Lake Kurnas was captivated by its natural beauty and the opportunity to ride catamarans among the picturesque mountains. Argiroupoli, with its coolness and small waterfalls, was a beautiful ending to the day. Thank you for your comfortable transportation, professional guides and exceptional attention to detail! Special thanks to Julia for her support and help in organizing everything from accommodation to the tour program. Our family is absolutely delighted with the fascinating tour of Chania, with its stunning Venetian architecture and picturesque waterfront. Visiting the Agia Triada Monastery, where we experienced monastic life firsthand, and the charming Cretan village that gave us a true sense of peace and serenity were particularly memorable. The winery was a real culinary discovery, and the wine tasting left the most delightful impressions! The second excursion day to Rethymno, with its narrow cozy streets and rich history, was equally impressive. Lake Kournas captivated us with its natural beauty and the opportunity to ride pedal boats amidst picturesque mountains. 5.00Elena was awesome. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Van was very comfortable for my party of 5 with good a/c The walking in the little downtown shopping area has a lot of history and they did a good job with very old and modern construction. Monastery was beautiful and you can buy wine and some treats as the Baklava. Beach was crowded but still find place for your towels, we didn’t have enough time to eat as the restaurant takes long time to take your order so do it with time. Overall, Elena did a great job explaining the history of the city. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00Very informative tour, we learned a lot about the history of Crete and Chania, visited a beautiful monastery, had a lovely time at the winery tasting wines and sampling delicious home cooked dishes, and had an extensive tour of Chania. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, great experience overall.

5.00We are passengers from Sun Princess and It was a pleasure to have Helen as our tour guide and made our Chania port stay a memorable one. She showed us the beautiful Chania old town and navigate the narrow paths with great photo spots. In the beach stop, she lent us a beach umbrella which is a life saver as all the umbrellas with beach chairs were all rent out by 2 pm. We manage to rent a beach chair and use her umbrella to survive the heat in the afternoon. The beach stop although was shorter than we would like, but the water is very nice and we had a Lovely swim. The restaurant she recommended was very good with delicious food and priced reasonably. We highly recommend to any cruise passengers to book this private tour if they want to see a lot in a couple of hours.
