Winay Wayna

Day 1 begins early with the pick-up of travelers from their hotel at 04:00 a.m. to take transportation to Ollantaytambo. From there, board the train to Km. 104, passing through beautiful landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Upon arriving at Km. 104, you will begin the walk to the first archaeological site, Chachabamba, where the guide will give an explanation. Then you will begin a moderate 3-hour hike to Wiñay Wayna, a place with stunning ruins. After lunch, continue to the Inti Punku (Gate of the Sun), where you will have the first panoramic view of Machu Picchu. Finally, take the bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night in a 3-star hotel. The day will end with dinner and a brief explanation about the visit to Machu Picchu the next day.

Machupicchu

Day 2 begins with breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes. Then, travelers will take a bus to Machu Picchu, where they will enjoy a 2-hour guided tour to explore the main archaeological points like the Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana and the agricultural terraces. During the tour, the guide will provide information about Inca history, architecture and culture. After the guided tour, you will have 1 hour free to explore the site at your own pace, take pictures or rest. You will then take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch or shopping. In the late afternoon, travelers will take the train back to Ollantaytambo and then private transportation to Cusco, where the tour will end.
