A pleasant tour to the Cozia Monastery, Turnu Monastery and Sibiu

5.00The tour to Cozia Monastery, Turnu Monastery and Sibiu was a very nice experience. Monasteries are surrounded with greenery and roses and my guide Nicolas showed me the caves near the Turnu Monastery, where hermits once lived. The interior of the monasteries is very beautiful and Nicolas talked to me about the biblical scenes in the frescoes. In Sibiu, we saw the Orthodox Cathedral and climbed the tower of the Lutheran Cathedral, which enabled us to see the panorama of the city. It was a pleasant sunny day, full of greenery and a nice walk in the Old Town of Sibiu. On our way back, we also visited the Cornet Monastery, which was the most beautiful among the monasteries we visited. I recommend Nicolas as a very kind and knowledgeable guide, always ready to add something interesting to the agreed tour.

5.00Great experience!!! Nicolas was a fantastic tour guide - very knowledgeable, entertaining, and patient. Despite the long ride from Bucharest, Sibiu is a very charming town well worth the visit.

5.00This day trip to Sibiu was one of the best parts of my trip to Romania. Along the way to Sibiu we stopped in Căciulata at the springs along the scenic Olt River, and visited the beautiful Cozia and Turnu Monasteries. Touring around with Nicolas was fun and relaxing. The schedule was in my control so at no point did I feel rushed. Nicolas was accommodating, very knowledgeable about the sites and could answer any questions about Romania. Thank you for the great experience and definitely recommend the trip!
