Godfrey Tours will pick you up at your ship or hotel and take you shopping in downtown Charlotte Amalie. Once done with shopping, board again for a scenic two hour sightseeing tour of the island. Enjoy the beautiful scenic views and have an unforgettable time on St. Thomas.

Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

You should bring along the following items: bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, and cash for lunch, drinks and souvenirs. Drinks on the tour bus are complimentary.

While shopping or at the beach, your items will be secured in the front cab of the tour bus.

If Shopping is part of your tour, once you're finished, we meet at the Liberty Bell in Emancipation Park. Shops close at 1:00 PM on Sundays.

Coki Beach and Sapphire Beaches are free but Magens Bay has an entrance fee of $5.00 per person.

Your Tour Package does not include the beach entrance fee, Coral World entrance fee or any other activity.

Free drinks are provided on the tour buses all day for our passengers.

Godfrey Tours will pick you up at your ship or hotel at and take you shopping in downtown Charlotte Amalie. Once done with shopping, you can board again for a scenic two hour sightseeing tour of the island. Our tour will take you to the Mafolie Hotel to overlook the Bluebeard and Blackbeard's pirate castles, then up to the highest point, the Mountain Top where you will find the famous rum daiquiri. We'll continue the tour and enjoy the view of Hassel island, Water Island, and the island of St. Croix along the way. We'll continue to Sir Francis Drake seat, (the British pirate) overlooking Magens Bay. Once you've completed your tour, we will take you back to your ship with time to spare or to your hotel. Beach entrance fee is NOT included in package price.

I don’t like giving one-star reviews because I understand how much they can impact a business, but in this case it was warranted. We scheduled a pickup for 11:30 AM, and no one ever showed. We waited 45 minutes with no updates or communication (even after calling and asking the nearby taxi people). At that point, we had to move on since the lenght of the tour and cruise on boarding time was way too tight. I also immediately requested a refund (as of now still hasn't been given). I looked into the reviews again and this isn’t an isolated incident. If you check the 1–3 star reviews here and on Viator, you’ll see people having similar experiences. This seems to be a recurring problem for this tour. There are other problems that other people have reported but thowe can be read on their reviews. I'm glad some people seemed to enjoy the tour but I'll advise extreme caution here.

Great tour guide! Super knowledgeable about the history of the Virgin Islands and all of the hurricanes. Very safe driver too. Only suggestion for a future tourist would be to not plan this excursion on a day when cruise ships are coming in to dock and not on a day of a parade in town . We were stuck in heavy traffic for about 45-60 minutes. Our tour wasn’t shorted in any way but just something i wish we’d known ahead of time. Trip to the mountain was scenic and the store at the top has tons of touristy offerings at reasonable prices; my husband loved the banana daiquiri too. Lots of chances to stop and take photos.

The tour did not even pick us up. Claimed they didn’t know where our cruise was docking even though it was all in the booking.

Godfrey was our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and flexible. There were 4 different parties in our group. After our tour, he took us to which ever beach we wanted to go to and more shopping if you wanted. I believe our 4-hour trip ended up being 8 hours. Lol. Which was awesome for us. We were on vacation and had the whole day free. We were planning to head to the beach on our own, but it worked out better this way. We did not have to worry about getting a taxi. Everyone got what they wanted out of the tour.

Do not book with this travel company Goodfrey Tours. Per the booking, our tour was to start at 8:30 am and end at 12:30 pm. The travel operator picked us up at 9:15 am without notifying us or the other people waiting at the cruise port. We finally made it to downtown to be dropped of for our 2 hours of shopping. The operator told everyone to be back at 11:00 am for pickup. Again the bus driver was late with no explanation and all participants were sitting outside waiting. Once we finally got going, the driver started listing all these places we should have gone to see, which was a little late. He should have given us that list when he dropped us off, not after he picked us up. We were not the only people who were quite upset. As we were driving, we learned they had cancelled some tours and were mixing our 4 hour tour with some of the 6 hour tours. After arriving at the next stop, he dropped us off at the next stop, he gave us a time to meet and again was quite late. We were getting extremely worried as we had booked another excursion at 2:30 pm, thinking we had 2 hours between the excursion. During the ride, the microphone was too close to his mouth and we could not understand what he was saying. Several people tried to talk to him about not understanding his talking, but he did not change. Again we made another stop and this time he was over an hour late picking us up. Every time we stopped, he could not pick us up on time when every one in the bus was on time and waiting. In the tour explanation the famous banana daiquiri was to be provided at the famous Mountain Top. When we got there, he stated the daiquiri was not included and we had to pay for it ourselves. By this time we were running extremely late and was trying to reach our next excursion to let them know we were going to be late. The bus was stopping at Megans Bay Beach which it was not suppose to do, but since they had mixed tours they had to stop. He had to call another bus to come pick us up and take us back to our cruise port. We did make it to our next excursion, however we were late. I will never book with this company again and will be requesting a refund of this tour. If I could this company would not even get one star. This really ruined our morning to spend in St. Thomas.
