3.00We boarded the cruise at pier 11 but the boat then stopped at another Pier in Buda to pick up more people which obviously reduced the time we had to the boat went up towards the island on the Danube and turned pretty quickly and headed back the way we came. There was no commentary and we were pretty bored after 20 minutes
Totally recommend! A very relaxing way to see the main sites

5.00Great place to see the best of any cities attractions. But Budapests beautiful Parliament building, bridges and castles! Wow! Its amazing. Silver line cruise and staff brilliant. Really enjoyed this river cruise

5.00We usually do river cruises in every city we go too. Silver line danube cruise was really nice. Staff were super friendly and were really nice to our little granddaughter. Cruise was very informative and really interesting. Totally recommend it

3.00Lovely views and as good as the rest of the options along the Danube, and priced roughly in the middle of them all. It, however, was rather busy and views were fairly restricted. And would recommend nighttime over daytime as the lights make all the difference.

4.00The evening tour is very suggestive but the passage of the boat in the outward leg was too fast .. in front of the parliament we could not take pictures worthy of the show but slowed the race to a "dead end" of the crossing. Good but not great.

5.00The boat staff were friendly, the views of the city at night beautiful and the hot chocolate with baileys delicious. It was cold on the open deck so dress warm if you go during the colder seasons.

4.00Not sure whether an hour is enough for a river cruise to see the floodlit buildings along the river and it would have been nice to go a little further to see the sports stadium close up as it looked very impressive from a distance

3.00We recently took the daytime sightseeing cruise with Silverline, and overall, I would describe the experience as perfectly adequate. The cruise delivers exactly what is promised: stunning, panoramic views of Budapest's UNESCO World Heritage riverbanks, including the majestic Parliament Building, the historic Buda Castle, and the Chain Bridge, all clearly visible in the daylight. The value for money is certainly excellent. The cruise was priced fairly, and the duration and route were exactly as advertised. The ship itself was modern, clean, and provided plenty of viewing space from both the enclosed and open decks. For first-time visitors looking for an affordable and efficient way to see all the major landmarks from the water, this cruise performs its primary function well. However, a river cruise is fundamentally a shared social experience, and in our case, the general atmosphere created by the other passengers unfortunately detracted significantly from the scenic journey. While my wife and I were looking forward to a relaxed hour enjoying the views, the crowding and high energy levels of several nearby groups made it difficult to find a quiet moment to simply soak in the city’s beauty. While this is clearly not the fault of the cruise line or the ship's friendly crew, who did their best, it does highlight that the passenger experience can be very hit-or-miss depending on who else is on board. For Silverline management, I would offer one constructive suggestion that could universally improve guest comfort: a clearer, stricter policy regarding designated smoking areas, particularly on the open decks. The constant presence of smoke made enjoying the fresh air and taking unobstructed photos difficult for non-smokers, which compounded the disappointment of the distracting social environment. If you prioritize excellent value and fantastic photographs of Budapest's architecture and bridges, this cruise will certainly provide the views. Just be aware that the overall enjoyment of the trip may heavily depend on the dynamics of your fellow travelers.

3.00Strange experience to say the least. We turned up approximately 40 minutes early and I showed the guide our tickets to ensure we were at the right place only to hear mumblings of "This tour is on the Buda side..." and when I showed the departure point address on the ticket showing as where we were, I got a "they mixed it up..." was then told to go to the back of the line. The boat left at the alloted departure time anyway and as far as I could see, no-one else was challenged about their tickets...the boat tour was ok, nice views. Just a really strange thing to say/do.

4.00Arrive on time (like 30mins before) because the line is huge and they take the best places.. however if you go to front you can still have a nice experience!
