Sigiriya Lion Rock
Sigiriya is the number one tourist attraction of Sri Lanka and the most visited site. This place is recognized as the eighth wonder of the ancient world. 660ft (200meters) height natural granite rock has been converted into a well protected incredible fortress between 477 495 CE. The fortress complex includes remnants of a ruined palace, surrounded by an extensive network of fortifications, vast gardens, ponds, canals, alleys and fountains.
Dambulla Cave Temple
Dambulla Cave temple is the most visited temple of Sri Lanka and a top tourist attraction. This ancient Buddhist temple was constructed in 103 BC and 89-77 BC and there are five caves which are belong to five different centuries. When you visit the temple, you will see that those five caves are full of Buddhist murals, colorful paintings and Buddha statues. This UNESO world heritage site is a place you must visit.

5.00What an absolutely legendary day! From the perfectly timed pickup to the final drop-off, everything was flawless. Climbing Sigiriya at sunrise was a total rush—the views are breathtaking! 🌅 The safari was pure magic; seeing elephants and leopards up close had our whole group beaming with joy. A massive shoutout to our guide, Madusanka, who was so friendly and kept the perfect pace for us. Between the delicious local snacks and the comfy ride, every detail was 10/10. This trip was an incredible value and gave us memories we’ll treasure forever. Highest possible recommendation!

5.00Highly Recommended Experience! We had an incredible time on our Sigiriya and safari excursion. The entire day was expertly organized and ran like clockwork. Climbing the fortress at sunrise was breathtaking, and exploring the caves felt like a true discovery. Seeing ancient paintings on the wall with so much of details in it is just mind blowing experience. The wildlife sightings on the safari—especially the leopards, crocodile, mongoose and elephants—brought so much joy to our group. Our guide, Madusanka, was amazing and tailored the pace to our needs. With comfortable transport, delicious snacks, and great value, this trip provided us with lifelong memories. Definitely an extra mile was made to make us experience the best. 10/10!

5.00Amazing Sigiriya tour with wildlife sanctuary. We spent a full day with family and friends touring central in Sri Lanka using private day trip to Sigiriya. Climbing Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress gave us amazing panoramic views and plenty of moments to stop for photos and laughs. Visiting Dambulla Golden Cave Temple offered a peaceful pause to admire intricate murals. Later the safari in Minneriya National Park showed elephants, monkeys and colourful birds naturally roaming the area. Rolling hills streams and greenery along the route made the day lovely, relaxed and truly memorable for all of us. Great and safe ride from Colombo to Sigiriya. Everything was great and expected service from Go Ceylon Tours this company. Highly recommended this Sigiriya tour from Colombo.

5.00This tour booked through Go Ceylon Tours was the best decision we made. Our driver and guide Madusanka look after us from Colombo to Sigiriya. He was superb professional , knowledgeable and funny. We had a great time , good conversation and learned a lot about Sri Lanka. He was a very flexible and had some great ideas for things to do check out along the way and day. Go Ceylon Tours was also able to accommodate our last minute request for back to colombo due to heavy rain. The coordinators are great about communicating with us morning and evening to share information and to check in on our experience in our journey. Our trip isn't over yet. We have a family more travel left and we anticipate the same level of professionalism from our next chauffeurs. Thank you so much Go Ceylon Tours and Madusanka for helping to make our trip to Sri Lanka made memorable. Best wishes from us!!

5.00This is our first trip with Go Ceylon Sri Lanka to the UNESCO world heritage sites of Sri Lanka. The trip was amazing. The tour was absolutely excellent. We saw and experienced so much things. We had a great tour to Dambulla cave Temple, Lion Rock Sigiriya, Traditional Village Tour with Authentic Village Lunch with many nature combinations. Mr. Madusanka was our driver and guide. He was amazing person. He has very good english. He told us the stories of past of Sri Lanka, religion and culture about Sri Lanka. He brought us to a local place for llunch which was amazing. The van was clean, comfortable and Air-Conditioning was excellent. Overall, the one day excursion was a fantastic experience and worth the money. Highly recommended for families, friends and solo travelers looking for a flexible and friendly day excursion!

5.00Our guide Mr. Ayan had planed a great day tour for us. We went to Sigiriya Rock and the Cave Rock Temple where he organised. Our tour was incredibly positive. It was an amazing day out that was made by amazing guide Mr. Ayan. He was incredibly knowledgeable and went the extra miles to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. Where we learnt about all the different Sri Lankan herbs and even got to buy some spices and things like that. The journey was a comfortable one and Ayan made sure to check we were comfortable and needed anything from the road. Sigiriya and Dambulla rock are both amazing. Breathtaking spot to visit and having information from Mr. Ayan made both sites even more enjoyable and interesting. Our guide Ayan introduced us to places with delicious authentic dishes that we wouldn't have discovered on our own. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommended Mr. Ayan for gguiding and Go Ceylon Tours for planning any type of tours in Sri Lanka!!

5.00We had an excellent day trip and had an excellent experience with Go Ceylon Tours. All arrangements for our transfer priority to arrival were very easy and efficient with great communication over WhatsApp. We received a brilliant service from this tour company and they were highly professional and communicative, responded really quickly and great way to explore sigiriya. Our guide and driver Mr. Ayan arrived as stated picked us up earlier at our request from our hotel The Radisson Colombo. Right from the start he was very friendly, polite, knowledgeable and informative about the sight seeing we were driving through. We visited Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, Dambulla Golden Cave Temple and Fantastic village tour experience with sri lankan traditional lunch at village house. It was little adventure and 100% memorable. If you choose to go on this tour we can highly recommend asking Ayan can take you with lot of happy memories. Very good guide and driving with assistance throughout the day. We can only recommend the tour with him. Definitely want to keep in touch with this company for future traveling. 5.00A great and reliable travel company we booked the two day trip from colombo to sigiriya. In advance and everything was perfectly organized in additionally they took us to Minneriya National Park and it was unforgettable wildlife jeep safari experience. Our guide and driver Mr. Madusanka who is knowledgeable and he gave best service which his best. The authentic sri lankan lunch was so good and this village experience is such a marvelous adventure. Climbing lion rock all the way up was nice and easy and so many beautiful views. We will never hesitate to use this tour company and guide again when we back to Sri Lanka. 5.00We took a one day trip from Kalutara to Sigiriya with a local guide Thisath. We visited Golden Cave Temple, Lion Rock, Traditional Village Experience and Evening Cultural Dancing Show. He is very caring, punctual and professional. He quoted very good reasonable price for us. Dambulla cave paintings are very well preserved and are really amazing. Driving is all the day journey in a car with Thisath was very careful and efficient. He and us made sure that we saw all the places what are the mainly important. This ancient city is very extensive and so much history and so much to seeing. Highly recommended this tour company and guide.

5.00We had an excellent experience from to finish. This wonderful day seeing all the sisights, visiting temples, hiking the Lion Rock and taking our first Safari Tour in Sir Lanka. Amazing time to visiting Sigiriya and Dambulla Golden Cave Temple the history in Sri Lanka is mind below. Totally this tour recommended by the best tour company in Sir Lanka Go Ceylon Tours! Our Chauffeur and Guide was Mr. Madusanka! He was very friendly and helpful. He gave us many tips and also a better understanding of Sri Lanka and Culture.
