  If you’re considering a trip to Sri Lanka and don’t know where to start, reach out to Dulaj at Lanka Day Explorers. I contacted him on WhatsApp just a few days before my trip — I was traveling solo from NYC for a week — and he quickly helped me build a well-priced itinerary with stops and suggestions I honestly would’ve spent hours researching on my own. He also gave me the best rates I saw anywhere. The highlight was how thoughtful and responsive he was. Every message came with clear info, options, and honest pricing. He factored in all my preferences (including that I was working late nights), set me up with a great driver, and gave me one transparent cost for the full route based on mileage.   The entire day was truly exceptional. We visited all the places we wanted to see, and even discovered a few extra hidden gems along the way. The atmosphere was great, everything was perfectly organized, and we were able to fully relax and enjoy every moment. We would also like to give special recognition to our driver. He drives excellently — confidently, calmly, and very safely, which made us feel completely comfortable throughout the trip. He is also incredibly helpful, kind, and always ready to answer questions or offer advice.   We just got back from an incredible 10-day trip around Sri Lanka, and I can honestly say it was one of the best travel experiences we’ve had. From the start, Dulaj was super helpful in planning everything. He really listened to what we wanted, made great suggestions, and was always quick to reply. Even during the trip, he checked in with us daily to make sure we were okay, which was such a nice touch. Our driver, Kusal, was an absolute gem. He was really patient with us (even when we changed our plans last minute!) and went out of his way to make the trip special. He introduced us to loads of local treats and always made sure we were comfortable. The whole tour ran smoothly, and we felt really well looked after. • Take professionals to plan! Really great

  I already planned my whole trip with Lanka day explorer in advance from Germany. Great communication! I shared the sights I wanted to see. At first everything was tailored to me at reasonable prices. There was always a driver with air-conditioned car available who spoke English. First of all, I had myself picked up from the airport for acclimatization: Sim card and money as well as water supply directly procured and drive to the first hotel. A few days spent there and also have them picked up again. On the way to the next hotel, everything planned was then viewed. It was pleasant, calm and without hassle feasible to look at. The plan could also be changed - without any problems. I used safari, boating, ox carts on the way to the village (cooking class). So I had sightseeing for a week and later an end with pure bathing vacation. Various events can be booked there: in the east there are diving classes, snorkeling, whale/dolphin watching and cooking classes. Simply express the wish and everything will be made possible. For the price and time saving (instead of public transport) just the best and you are not so broken by weather 😉. End the journey to the airport with sightseeing. • Wonderful journey together

  We chose this company because we had our own travel plan and only wanted a driver. And we couldn't have dreamed of a better driver, comfortable driving and additionally a great guide. There is nothing we could complain about. I recommend this company with all my heart. Constant contact, always helpful. Even after the joint trip ended, when we were still on the island and needed transport to the capital they were happy to help us.   The tour was fantastic—very interesting and comprehensive. Dulaj is very polite, punctual, and discreet; he made us feel very safe. He took care of us as if we had been lifelong friends. Highly recommended, especially because he showed us enchanting places that you wouldn’t find on a standard tour.
