I initially wasn't too sure about the experience, however was pleasantly surprised! The VR experience itself was very well animated and much, much more detailed than expected. The narration was very informative and also very detailed. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The admission fee was also really affordable. Overall, this experience is suitable for all ages and I highly recommend it to anyone who's in the area. :)

Amazing VR, so realistic and fantastically done. Totally worth it. We watched it before visiting the rock so we can imagine how it used to be.

It was an incredible experience for me. I was in the ancient Sigiriya Fortress, and I never imagined how breathtaking it would be until I saw it with my own eyes. As a proud Sri Lankan, I highly recommend this project to anyone. I’m truly grateful to the team working behind the scenes for creating and maintaining such an amazing project. I had read the guides and completed the dawn climb but the VR experience brought it all to life. I could imagine Sigiriya at its powerful height. Nothing was left to the imagination and the whole story unfolded in a complete 3D visual dream world. I would so recommend this to any visitor. When will we see this at other historical sites.

We did this incredible VR tour of the Lion Rock before visiting the site. It is excellent vision of what the Fort and Palace would have looked like 1600 years ago and allowed us to properly appreciate the original grandeur of the now ruined site. Highly recommended.

Visiting Sigiriya Echo VR Experience was truly fascinating — a perfect blend of technology and heritage. The visuals were stunning, and the storytelling brought the ancient beauty of Sigiriya to life in such a unique way. A special highlight of my visit was meeting Sajeeka. She is absolutely adorable, with a warm and engaging personality that instantly makes you feel welcome. She speaks so passionately about her degree and the project — it’s inspiring to see someone so knowledgeable and proud of what she does. Her professionalism, confidence, and enthusiasm make her a true role model for the place. The whole experience was eye-friendly, well organized, and left a lasting impression. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sigiriya — and don’t forget to meet Sajeeka when you go!
