Star gazing experience at Lake Tekapo was awesome with Sam Blair. Sam is knowledgeable and quite experienced. He answered all our questions patiently and explained everything nicely.

We were lucky in that we had a very clear night and that the aurora was very active. The guide was excellent - the bus was a bit like the mystry machine from scooby doo which just added to the charm. We had a great time - it may be worth hearing a review from someone who went on a night when it was overcast.

It was a wonderful experience even though stars were visible for about 15 minutes. Then the clouds were taken over. But we still saw a lot and learnt a lot. The guide is knowledgeable and friendly. By the end, they offered a refund cuz we didn't see everything. All in all, highly recommended!

The overcoat are reused without sanitation. The telescope can only show a small object that is hardly visible.
