Kent's knowledge and enthusiasm for the local food and culture was brilliant and really enhanced our tour. He took us to very local places we would never have visited otherwise and sampled local food delights. He went out of his way to help us navigate our way to meeting him, then followed up with suggestions of other places we should visit. 5 out of 5!

Our guide Jag was awesome and the tour was super nice and worth it even though I had already explored Chinatown on my own the day before

Kent was phenomenal! The food was excellent, but what truly set the experience apart was the way Kent intertwined each dish with its historical and cultural significance. It was a genuine pleasure to learn not just what we were eating, but why it mattered. It was clear that Kent has a deep love for both his work and for Singapore. This tour became a defining part of our trip — it shaped how we experienced the rest of our time in Singapore. Kent gave us thoughtful recommendations on where to explore next, and we eagerly followed his advice. Thanks to this experience and the places we visited afterward, we left with a deep appreciation for Singapore’s remarkable progress — built on its rich history, cultural inclusivity, community-driven mindset, and a touch of technological innovation.

A fantastic tour! We really enjoyed all the different types of food that we tried - and really liked that it was things that we would not have otherwise bought. Kent, the guide, was also really interesting and gave us lots of information about the history of the food and of Singapore more generally which made it come alive for us. Thank you!

I went along expecting to taste a few local flavours and to see a little of the area … but it was soon obvious that SO much more was included … Excellent historical and cultural background was presented throughout, with a wonderful incite to modern Singapore and an ability seemingly to be able to answer any and all questions. SUPERB value … WONDERFUL food selection… FABULOUS incite to Singapore

Jeanette was wonderful! She led us through the streets of Chinatown, pointing out small details that I would have missed. She was very engaging and chose a variety of foods to sample and teach us about, each item focusing on a different aspect of Singaporean culture. It was a great history lesson and food tour combination! I really recommend Jeanette, she's got great taste :)
