I got lucky and had a private tour with Alfred! It was great to spend this time with him, and I'm sure I learned more than i would have with a larger group. As an eater with a limited range of foods I like, I was so happy to like everything we got! Might have been awkward if he bought something I couldn't eat. I really appreciate Alfred's time and expertise.

Kim is very good and friendly. She goes out of her way to go back to the Lim Chee Kwan to purchase our bak kwa and coffee from nanyang kopi as we forgot to purchase while in the location. She was spoke so clearly that everything came so clear and she answered all our questions. The Laksa was so delish as well as Hawker Chan meal was out of this world. We finished our tour with our belly full and very much informed about Singapore/ Chinese history. Thank you Kim. You deserve a 100 thumbs up🙏❤️ if you are ever going to Singapore , ask for tour guide Kim Ping.

It is just not about the food it is the experience and the culture. Our guide Alfred was awesome with providing us with not Only food knowledge but history and culture. This tour with Alfred was well worth it. We really enjoyed it!

We really enjoyed our food tour of Chinatown. We had already been to the Hawker centre and had been overwhelmed with the choice of dishes and vendors, so It was great to have a guide to recommend what to try, after considering our preferences. We are fussy eaters, but really enjoyed all of the dishes that were recommended, especially the shaved ice dessert!

This food tour was an absolute highlight of our time in Singapore. The amount of food alone was impressive — we visited multiple venues and sampled a wide variety of dishes, with more than enough to cover both dinner and dessert. Come hungry… you won’t leave that way! Beyond the food, the Chinatown walking tour was truly fascinating. It offered a wonderful up-close look at daily life, history, and culture in this part of the city, adding so much depth to the experience. It felt authentic, not touristy — just the right balance of storytelling, local insight, and delicious stops along the way. If you’re looking for a genuine street-food experience that lets you try different stalls, flavors, and neighborhoods all in one evening, this tour absolutely fits the bill. Great food, great fun, and a fantastic introduction to Singapore’s incredible food scene. 🍜✨

We had an absolutely fantastic time on the Singapore foodie experience with 5 tastings—though in reality, we tasted much more than advertised. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen and gave us a deeper understanding of Singapore’s food culture, history, and everyday life. The pacing was great, the variety was excellent, and nothing felt rushed or touristy. Each tasting felt intentional and generous, and we left full, happy, and genuinely impressed. This was one of the highlights of our time in Singapore and such a wonderful way to experience the city through food. Highly recommend.

A fantastic guided food tour through Chinatown. Sam was excellent and lead us through much of the history of Singapore, Chinatown, and the foods of the area. Everything we ate was superb and plentiful. We learned many local bites that we wouldn't have known to order without Sam's guidance. He also took many photos for us including a cool montage video. This was a great intro to Singapore and I'd recommend everyone start with this tour.
