This tour was designed to be more than your typical sightseeing tour, its purpose is to create visual and gastronomic memories coupled with the thrill of riding one of our customized Land Rovers. In order to fully enjoy this tour, which is suitable for all ages, we will be traveling in a customized 4×4 Land Rover for extra comfort and safety while driving on dirt roads and to fully enjoy what this region has to offer at the panorama level: its local and natural richness. Centro Historico de Sintra
Sintra is a quaint little village with beautiful cobbled streets, filled with traditional shops and cafés, where you can visit the most beautiful historical monuments. Classified as a World Heritage Cultural Landscape in 1995, the village keeps the colors and architecture from the time of the Portuguese monarchy, when it was commonly used as a summer vacation place. In this unique place full of history, you can also taste traditional sweets like the Travesseiros and Queijadas. Here you will enjoy the very best of the local production with a tasting of tapas, cheese and wines included in the tour, with an amazing view of the Sintra National Palace. This is a private tour; all of our suggested timings and stops can be adapted to your preferences or needs; just let us know, and we'll do it.
Sintra National Palace
Initially used as a Moorish governor's residence, King Afonso Henriques used it as his own residence after conquering Sintra and Lisbon in the mid-12th century. The blend of Gothic, Manueline, Moorish, and Mudéjar styles in the present palace is mainly the result of building campaigns during different centuries. It’s one of the most iconic landmarks in Sintra, with the two imponent chimneys from the kitchen being able to be seen from distances far away. This is the main palace located in the historical center that you can opt to visit while you are in Sintra village. He knows all the nooks and crannies, the most beautiful viewpoints and the little hidden roads that only true enthusiasts know. 5.00We had a great day with Pedro Alves our French speaking guide of the day. We will have wonderful memories of this day. The day trip passed very quickly and Pedro mastered his subject. If we come back for another excursion I hope he's still here.

5.00Can’t commend our driver and guide, Paula, enough. What an enjoyable and memorable day. The drive around Cascais and Sintra was a super fun family activity. Paula is super professional, respectful, friendly, and a safe driver, with a good sense of humor and perfect English. All in all I highly recommend this company.

5.00We had a truely amazing day with George. Picked up at 9 and headed to Cascais, George was a walking Wikipedia with his knowledge of both historic and fun facts. Both Cascais and Sintra are gorgeous and no better way to travel than in a bright yellow Land Rover. We went off road to some beautiful coastline which you couldn’t do on any other tour. Highly highly recommend we had the BEST day and huge thanks to George for making it so memorable!

5.00We booked a tour as a family with two teenage girls and had an amazing day in the Sintra area. Our tour guide, Pedro, was exceptionally well-prepared. Not only did he know a lot about the area, but he also made sure we had the best experience throughout the day. If you're not a port wine lover, don't worry—the tapas will make it enjoyable. 5.00PAULA is a jewel. We had a special pilgrimage to make (Boca de Inferno), and we won the lottery with her as our tour guide. From the moment we met her, she welcomed us, she laughed with us; we felt in the company of a friend. Each time she learned something new about us, she seemed to find a way to enhance the experience with the information. I’m blown away by her 4x4 skills! We covered a lot of gorgeous, diverse terrain. Lunch with a stunning view at RESTAURANTE NORTADA was world class. Can’t wait to return there. CARLOS, another gem, blew us away with his brilliant presentation of vintage port wines. This is how one should explore Portugal. Highly recommend!

5.00Maria our tour guide and driver was amazing. She was very accommodating and went out of her way to explain the areas we visited in great detail. She was very knowledgeable about Portuguese history and landmarks and towns that visited. We had the best day! We saw so much and loved every part of our day.
