5.00The guide who attended us, very attentive, pending anything we needed. It is true that you pay to be attended, but this boy is spectacular, attentive to everything and always giving explanations of everything that we are showing, a ten because there is no more.

5.00Thanks to Bruno we had a handcrafted visit to Sintra that met our needs and exceeded expectations. We visited Pena palace which is incredible, Monserrat palace which was a place to breathe in nature’s beauty and experience an elegant warm “home is your palace”. We also visited Mafra monastery and some secret views in apple beach. Everything was breathtaking, Bruno was super informative and friendly.

Packed with history, some light hiking, palaces, amazing views, beautiful gardens, and a tour guide who provided the best experience of our time in Lisbon. He even debones fish! Thank you Bruno for a wonderful visit and great conversation; we learned so much! You are truly a free thinker and worldly soul.

5.00I’m someone who loves to travel and do tours in the cities I visit, so I always do a lot of research before I go. When I planned my trip to Sintra, I knew that although Quinta da Regaleira is incredible, it tends to be very crowded, and I wanted to avoid that. After reading several reviews, I decided to visit Pena Palace and Monserrate Palace, and what a fantastic choice it was! It was an amazing experience that I highly recommend! The tour was excellent. The team at Portugal Unknown Tours was always helpful, taking care of the ticket purchases for us, which allowed us to relax and not worry about anything. There was always excellent communication with everyone, which made me feel super at ease throughout the day. Our guide, José, was absolutely amazing! He gave us the best suggestions, explained everything with great dedication, and even accompanied us on the visits to the monuments, which was a great "plus" for us. In the afternoon, we visited the beaches in the area and had the chance to enjoy a delicious fish lunch, which was absolutely amazing! We also visited the westernmost point of Europe and ended the day with a relaxing walk through the historic center of Cascais. I highly recommend this tour with Portugal Unknown Tours! Thank you for such a wonderful day! See you soon!

5.00This was an amazing tour. José was extremely knowledgeable about the area and so kind and thoughtful. We learned about the history and saw many awesome vistas. He brought us to an awesome little restaurant/bakery for lunch (not included). The tour company was Portugal Unknown, and I highly recommend this tour. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the experience was.

5.00We absolutely LOVED this tour! Our guide Joao picked us up from our hotel in Lisbon and gave us an incredible, personal tour of the Palace at Sintra and Regaleira. He was so kind, friendly and patient. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of these sites, which as a history lover I greatly appreciated! You cannot go wrong booking this tour with Joao....it will be an unforgettable day!
