5.00We had a good time, our guide Marta was very helpful, knowledgeable, organized & very accommodating to our walking speed being “seniors” 👍She even brought us to Cabo de Roca even though it was not in our itinerary. Excellent job, highly recommended 👏👏👏

5.00We engaged Rui Catalao for a tour of Sintra and the palaces on July 5th via Viator. Leading up to the excursion, Rui maintained constant communication through messaging to confirm all the details for our day. On the morning of the tour, he arrived at our hotel 15 minutes early. Our group consisted of 10 people, and we were pleasantly surprised when two Mercedes vans arrived—much more comfortable compared to our previous excursions to Porto, Berlengas Island, and around Lisbon, which were all in a single, and rather cramped, van. Rui Catalao and his partner, Hugo (who drove the second van), kept us informed throughout the day, sharing fascinating history and details about Sintra. Rui personally accompanied us on the trek through the gardens and up to the palace. Meanwhile, Hugo stayed behind with my mother-in-law, who was unable to make the walk. He kept her entertained with his humor until we rejoined them at the palace tour. For lunch, Rui took us to a fantastic local restaurant. "Sabores de Sintra" is an unassuming restaurant from the front door. It has an amazing open air garden seating in the back. Food was delicious as well. We visited the following sites that day: Historic Center of Sintra & National Palace of Sintra Moorish Castle National Palace of Pena Quinta da Regaleira Villa Sassetti Overall, this was the best excursion we experienced in Portugal. Berlengas island was a close second! We felt very safe and comfortable with Rui Catalao and Hugo, and we plan to request their services for all of our days on our next trip to Portugal.

5.00Rui and Hugo were the best guides. We were a large group that needed some special accommodations and they were great. They were very flexible with us and super knowledgeable. They accompanied us through each location and explained everything. Great recommendation for lunch. Handled all of the entries like a pro.

5.00We are Oseias and Nea From Brasil. Rui was our guide and took us on a day trip in Sintra and Cascais. He is a person who knows what he does, he is very kind and attentive. Certainly he contributed to make our tour smooth and memorable. We strongly recommend.

5.00We met the operator of Duca as we got off the train in Sintra. We had the car to ourselves the whole day, The operator was very knowledgeable about the history of Sintra and the local area and knew all the tricks to avoid the long lines, and gave us the best tips of what to see and how to divide our time. He took us to a local bakery to try the famous local pastry, and drove us around in this fantastic car. It was a very comfortable and luxurious experience with a private guide who knew all the history of the area. He also took us to a local vineyard where we tried delicious wine, and showed us Cascais, it wasn't part of our tour, but he did it anyway. He was the MOST AMAZING DAY thanks to Duca, and felt very relaxed and happy to make these wonderful memories. Excellent service, excellent price!

5.00We were looking for some tour in the city and Rui appeared offering a tour of 1 day to know parts of Portugal, already in the first impression we had confidence in him. What can I say? The guy is very 10!!! It was a top tour knowing several beautiful places like Sintra and Cascais.... Super recommend, polite and attentive Cover, luxury van, clean and organized. Thank you Rui for providing us with moments that will stay in the history of our lives, we will always remember you, or vendos our photos, or through social networks. God bless your business!!!!
