  Our tour with Francisco was amazing! So much knowledge, we learned a lot about the place and the owners. Francisco really takes you on a historical journey with most interesting stories. Definitely recommend!

  I booked a guided tour of Sintra with entrance to the Quinta da Regaleira and the experience far exceeded any expectations I had. It wasn’t the typical walk following someone who repeats data, it was something else completely. From the beginning it was noticeable that he knew what he was doing: he took us through shortcuts that avoided crowds and allowed us to tour the most important areas first, without rushing but without wasting time. That changes everything, because you're not fighting space or half-watching everything. Something I was very grateful for was that it gave us real time to enjoy the place. He didn’t go with a stopwatch on him or with that “let’s go” anxiety, on the contrary, he let us explore, breathe, take pictures. And not only that: he took spectacular photos of us, of those that you do want to upload and save, understanding angles, light and the most iconic points of the place. But the most valuable thing was his knowledge. It wasn’t limited to saying dates or names, but explained the history of the estate in context, connecting symbols, architecture and historical moments in a way that makes everything much more interesting. La Regaleira stops being just a beautiful place and becomes a meaningful experience. In short, it’s not just knowing a place, it’s living it. And that, in a place like this, makes all the difference.

  Francisco was an excellent guide. There is so much history that would be impossible to know or appreciate without his help. Made the experience much deeper and richer.
