  ​We had an absolutely fantastic experience on our Sintra whole day tour yesterday, thanks entirely to our guide, Senior Claudio! ​He was not only incredibly knowledgeable, providing deep historical context and fascinating local insights, but he also made the entire experience engaging and fun. We genuinely felt like we were getting an insider's view of the places, moving beyond the standard tourist spots. ​The pacing of the tour was perfect, and Senior Claudio handled our group with excellent professionalism and warmth.   I know it’s overwhelming to try to find the right tour guide. After reaching out to 5-10 potential guides while planning our family vacation, I followed my instinct and selected Cláudio to be our guide. I highly recommend him! He truly was the perfect fit for our family. He’s a retired teacher with a wealth of knowledge, a passion for sharing his beautiful country, and a kind heart. He followed our family’s rhythm while gently keeping us on track to experience the full day’s schedule he thoughtfully curated. He navigated unexpected monument closures with grace by providing other sights and experiences. We enjoyed friendly conversations and laughs with him throughout the trip and appreciated accommodations he made for us as we had a couple specific stops we requested outside of his planned route. His modern minivan is well maintained and very comfortable. He politely opens doors and he knows all the best photo ops.   We had an amazing full day trip to Sintra with Olá Viva Tours. Claudio made the trip truly unforgettable and very special due to his level of knowledge of the sites and his passion for sharing its story. In all aspects a trip to recommend. Claudio also volunteered as (a very skilled) photographer throughout the whole trip - thank you for this :-) Very high "Value for money".

  Beautiful experience in the company of Claudio, our very nice guide! We visited the garden of the Pena Palace and the Castle of the Moors in Sintra; we reached the Cabo da Roca, which is the westernmost point of the European continent; we passed through Praia do Guicho, which is the surfers beach; saw the Mouth of Hell and, finally crossing Cascais, we reached the Belém Quarter. Claudio, in addition to accompanying us on this tour, has captured every moment of the day with very funny photos! My group and I had a great time with him and we will definitely be accompanied on some other tours of Portugal in the future! Olá Viva!

  Perfect way to see Sintra. We visited all the major sites and more. Cláudio was a wonderful guide. He shared all the important information and also took lots of photos for us. Highly recommend! Perfect way to end our trip in Portugal.

  An unforgettable day with Cláudio an exceptional Guide and very pleasant and friendly. The day passed very (too) fast. Sintra's visit in the morning mist is out of time. The palace of the Pena narrated by Cláudio is magical. A stop in the pretty village then the road continues along the coast. And there the landscapes follow! We're taking a lot of eyes! We really loved this day which allows us to understand the richness of the Portuguese heritage and the great history of this “small” country. And beyond the visit Cláudio and its kindness and culture make this day wonderful. A great memory including for teenagers! That's not much to say.
