The Sip & Savour Wine Tour focuses on tantalising the taste buds, with food pairings to compliment your Waiheke Island wine tasting experience. Come and indulge in everything Waiheke as you Sip & Savour your way across the island. On arrival to Waiheke Island one of our guides will greet you at the wharf to welcome you to our beautiful island. Look out for “The Wine Tasting Company” sign board. (If you are staying on Waiheke, contact us for pick up times) Our tour starts off with a scenic drive as you soak up the sights of our magical island, from galleries, shops, restaurants, vines and golden sand beaches. Your local guide will share stories about Waiheke, our discovery of wine and olives, our celebrities “world famous on Waiheke” of course and our little visitors (Godwits) who have chosen Waiheke as part of their international stop over. You will enjoy some food pairing wine tastings with fabulous views. Lunch will either be a shared platter lunch + glass of wine OR a main + glass of wine at one of our favorite venues. Waiheke Island is only a 45min ferry ride from Auckland, making this tour an ideal option for day trippers, with a tour duration of approx. 5.5 hours.

5.00Amazing tour! Had such a wonderful day tasting delicious wines and learning about the beautiful island of Wahieke. Cami our guide was the absolute best! It felt like a friend showing you around her hometown. She was so passionate and knowledgeable about the region. 10/10 recommend!

5.00Cami was wonderful! She was ready at the pier on the Island with a sign with our names on it and she was very personable! The tastings were really nice. Plenty of time at each winery and very detailed tasting descriptions. Cami was accommodating and really seems to enjoy her job!

5.00Small group experiences are the best. Cami was delightful, knowledgeable a passionate about her home island. The winery visits were amazing, each unique, annd the locations were out of a movie! we felt welcomed like VIP’s!

5.00Our guide was Cami- she has lived on the island with her family for many years and has great knowledge about its history and the vineyards. She was very pleasant and told us so much about Waiheke and the wineries. The day was absolutely delightful! Loved the 4 vineyards we visited and the olive oil tasting as well. The settings were beautiful!

5.00This is small group tour. Cammie took us to 3 wineries for tastings plus a lunch stop. She successfully avoided wineries with large bus tours, which was very appreciated . She knows the island well and gave us lots of information on daily life in waiheke and showed us some of town. Beautiful. I didn’t think ferry info was very clear. We ended up with most expensive ferry …wish I had understood options better. I should have inquired with Cammie in advance.

5.00Can't recommend this tour with Cami highly enough! My mum and I had such a fabulous time with the small group visiting 3 wineries for tastings (casita miro, stonyridge and postage stamp) and batch winery for a beautiful sharing platter lunch enjoying views from the highest point of the island. Each of the wineries had a private table for us and the lunch was delicious. And Cami's tour of the island and stories as we drove around were brilliant. Loved our time on the tour, thank you Cami!

5.00Awesome experience from start to finish. Cami was so helpful with booking. We were picked up from the ferry and taken to our AirBnB to drop off our cases. Michelle our tour guide was fun, friendly and so knowledgeable. She kindly dropped us back to our AirBnB at the end of the tour. Great vineyard selection. Great wines. Casita Miro the highlight 😍

5.00What a wonderful day! Nydia took us to some really pretty vineyards around the island and showed us around town - she was a wonderful host with a lot of interesting stories. Wines were lovely and the intimate group-setting was an absolute plus. Would definitely recommend!
