Fun Welcome and Overview of Curacao in Downtown

5.00This was a fun experience that provides a quick overview of Curacao with some history, tastings of several island rums, the tasting of Blue Curacao and a specialty drink, a walking tour of the downtown and a fun surprise with a show and tell on how espadrilles are made. This is a short walk to Hand Made (starting point for tour) after exiting the pier. If you are interested in shopping, you are in the shopping district for the tour so it's easy before or after. Keenan did a great job and made this a fun way to learn about the island. The tour is split between a session on comfortable benches in Hand Made and a walking tour.

5.00The information provided about the country was very informative. The staff were fun and friendly. It was a great vibe. We tried various rums. Our tour guide, Ethan, was down to earth. The espadrilles provided were of nice quality. This is definitely worth trying.

This was one of the best I have participated in because you feel thr passion of the organizers and because it is a great blend of education-learning about Curacao-and fun, including learning first hand about the different Curacao alcohols. Truly enjoyable!
