  We did a group tour and especially enjoyed the boat ride and lunch in a small village by the lake. The fish was excellent and fresh. After this, we were welcomed by the family in the winery, where we really enjoyed the products.

  Great boat ride and unforgettable wine. Family we visited is so kind and we had a feeling like we are part of family. Wine is really great especially the red , so so tasty. Must do this tour really something special.

  Where do I start?! Tanja and Igor were both fantastic! Tanja contacted me prior to the tour via whatsapp to confirm food and timings. As I follow a vegan diet she arranged the most incredible lunch for me and my friend. The tour was so personal, Tanja was giving us her authentic experiences of Montenegro - which is so important when visiting another country and soaking up another culture. And as a bonus, she's hilarous too! So much to learn from her. And Igor equally - we went to Igors house on Skadar lake and had some fresh springwater - it was incredible to see the house he's building from scratch, and where he lives is just a little piece of heaven! The tour started with visiting the fortress, then the gorgeous boat tour (where we saw so many birds, busha cows etc) then a stop off at igors house, before the viewpoints of skadar lake, when off to wine tasting which was fantastic - we bought some to take home too! This is also where we had the vegan lunch. Setting was gorgeous, weather was incredible - very wholesome feel to this tour. And final stop was cijevna waterfall - the colour of the water was insane! (I have a highlight story on instagram of this tour if you'd find it useful @lifeofpa._ ) Tanja will take you to the non-touristic rural parts of montenegro - if you're looking for a tour to book, please don't just do straight to kotor as podgoricia is a hidden gem in itself - and Tanja is certainly the best person to show you around! We couldn't have had a better time with her, our trip even ended in hugs! Thank you Tanja and Igor! Xx

  My friends from Budapest visited Montenegro and I wanted to show them some of the beautiful places which this country offers. We decided to choose Amazon tour with Tanja...we had such a luck :) name of the tour said it all! We have visited some hidden places of the Skadar lake which looked like Amazon entirelly. It was a true hedonist weekend tour, we arranged swimming on the lake, on the so-called “Eye of the lake” where you can feel cold springs down deep in the lake, and afterwards we had a lunch with fresh fish from the lake and excellent wine with local host. We trully enjoyed and experinced completelly all the beauty of Skadar lake. Thank you Tanja for brining us so much joy on our vacation :)

  I was visiting Montenegro with a friend in August. We did traveling around the country ourselves, but also wanted to join a guided and I am so happy we found Tanja & Montenegro Wonders. Tour was called Piece of history, and our whole day with guide Tanja was filled with stories about the past and today, we visited very interesting sights (Cetince, Lovcen, Skadar Lake & Karuc) and enjoyed the most beautiful and breathtaking views during our car ride and boat tour on Skadar Lake. We also had delicious lunch in Karuc (fresh fish, incl. in price). Tanja is such a charming and heartfelt personality, she does her work with great passion - warmly recommend taking a tour with her. I hope I´ll be able to join another Montenegro Wonders -tour one day.

  This time I participated in Beauty of our coast and Piece of history . The tour also showcases famous tourist destinations such as Kotor and Cetinje, but I think the best part is that it showcases the beauty of Montenegro that only locals know. Also, my guide Tanja's desire to introduce his favorite charms of Montenegro was conveyed to me, and it made me glad I came to Montenegro to travel and want to visit again.

  Searching the internet for news about Montenegro I found this site and thought that taking a day trip with an experienced guide would be a good idea. I must confess that the trip was far above my expectations, Tanja was an incredible person, kind right from the first email where she advised me how to organize in the 3 days of our stay and what ride to do with her to make the most of our trip. Punctual, smiling, very knowledgeable about her country, she took us to visit villages rich in history and beautiful landscapes. In addition, the day ended with a wonderful ride in the lake and a dinner with fresh fish at a local fisherman. Experienced driver owns a huge and very comfortable car, with wifi that allowed us to phone Italy to solve a serious family problem. If you go to Montenegro, let Tanja advise you and enjoy a relaxing day relying on her experience and sympathy. Searching on the internet about Montenegro I found this site and I thought taking a day trip with an expert guide would have been a good idea.
