Virpazar
Depart from Virpazar's pier tucked inside a traditional wooden boat, and glide along a small river canal lined with rustling reeds and willows. You'll be surrounded by nature's embrace, promising a captivating journey through this idyllic heaven. As you leave the river canal, a beautiful sight of the distant Accursed Mountains - The Albanian Alps will greet you. The neighbouring island Vranjina boldly emerges from the glistening waters of one of Southern Europe's largest lakes.

5.00The operator offers wise advice about the way other operators try to claim that parking is only free if you go with them. I heard them do this. This is an honest operator. Our captain was friendly and helpful throughout, explaining the sights as we went along, offering free wine, juice and freshly made donuts. Well worth the money.

5.00Wonderful experience. So beautiful even off season. Our guide, Peter, was very nice and knowledgeable. We enjoyed limitless wine and pastries throughout the 3 hour tour. Highly recommended !!!

5.00A great tour with beautiful views of the mountains and water lilies. These bloomed partially in September, so spring must be even more sensational. The tour was great with a great boat driver some wine and a delicious pastry prepared by the grandmother;-) Attention when parking better not drive into the village, there it is super tight in peak times - better use the parking lot opposite.

5.00it was a great tour, beautiful views and a great boat driver. This is certainly a must if everything is in full bloom in May, but even in September the water lilies were still plentiful and have partially bloomed. Attention on arrival, at peak times better not drive into the village but use the parking lot outside.
Tiny spot, one street and the bridge but very quaint.

5.00Vorpazar is TINY it is literally one street and the bridge, it is also a good 2 KM from the train station along a very busy road, so if you are travelling by train and want to get into town travel light! It is however a lovely little place, only a few restaurants in the main square and they are all quite good and reasonably priced. The boat tour on the lake really is a must do here.

5.00The boat was wooden and spacious. I like that they only allow 16 on board. Means no one is squashed. The Monastery was quaint. Be sure to walk around the back of the church too. Frescoes everywhere. The view is amazing from up there too. The captain was very helpful and cheerful. He would answer any questions and was knowledgeable about the area.
