When your cruise ship docks in Skagway, enjoy a shore excursion to see the best sights of the city and take in the views from the majestic White Pass Summit area. Following the Klondike Highway by mini-bus, you'll have the opportunity to photograph the Gold Rush Cemetery, Skagway Scenic Overlook and the "Welcome to Alaska" sign as well as other scenic stops along the highway portion. Our mini-buses are smaller than other similar tour options with average size of 24 passengers with a full tour. This allows greater interaction with your guide as well as number of photo stops we make. Our guides will take great photos of your groups for lasting memories!
All passengers must have a valid passport.

Original valid passport is required to bring on the day of travel (no copies).
For non-US/Canadian citizens USA Visa may be required (no copies).
Children 15 or younger must bring a Passport (or if USA or Canadian citizen can bring an original/certified birth certificate-no copies). Children 16 and older and all adults must have a valid Passport.
Not scooter accessible. No battery operated equipment can be loaded onto buses. Collapsible wheelchairs or Walkers can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark. Passenger must be able to walk some and boarding bus requires a few steps. YOU MUST INFORM OPERATOR IF ARE BRINGING A COLLAPSIBLE WHEELCHAIR OR WALKER.
Pick up location: Look for a representative holding a FRONTIER EXCURSIONS sign. Please be 15 minutes early. Please bring your Passports. For Broadway and Ore dock, meet off the pier where the dock meets land just outside the security gate next to a large parking area. For the Railroad dock, there are two docking positions. For ships tendering to the small boat harbor, walk up the ramp after disembarking the tender and look to your left for Zone B meeting area. If you are taking a shuttle bus off the pier from your ship, once you get off the shuttle bus look to your right for Zone B. Zone B is near Skagway Fish Co.
At the time of booking, traveler must provide their cruise ship name. If not on a cruise ship please contact operator for meeting instructions.

5.00We choose the small bus tour over the train because it basically took the same route, but we got to stop at key spots along the way. We also got to stop at a suspension bridge and enjoy some delicious bison chili. We also wanted to get a picture of the "Welcome to Alaska" sign. I will admit that when I first saw our tour guide I thought, "I hope he's not our tour guide." He looked like he had slept in his clothes and had just rolled out in time to get to work. But never judge a book by its cover. Andrew was a fantastic guide. He gave us an informative tour of Skagway before we headed up the mountain on our way to the Yukon. He stopped at several great spots and was genuinely patient and helpful with all of us on the bus. He told us about his life, working in Alaska all summer, and what that was like. He took pictures of his guest when they requested it. He told us historical facts as well. You could tell that he had done his homework, and we benefited from it. His driving was great and when we returned to Skagway he offered to drop us off in town or take us directly back to our ship. I would highly recommend this tour and I would recommend Andrew any day of the week. We also loved the hardware store in town and the klondike doughboy was well worth the stop. A large, delicious cinnamon sugar pastry for only $8. A bargain for any food item in Alaska.

5.00This tour was the best shore excursion! Garet is professional, knowledgeable and very informative guide. He even took majority of the participants back to the Pier. It is absolutely a wonderful trip! I also wanted to commend Sam, Manager who is very kind in assisting me with my reservation. Southeast Tours is phenomenal.

5.00Really good trip and value for money compared with other excursions. Informative and amusing thanks to the driver Gareth. Many stops to view and take pics which train didnt offer, and had a lovely stop by the lake and waterfall at Pitchfork .

From the moment the tour began, Mike’s energy, passion for history, and deep knowledge of the area made every stop engaging and meaningful. 5.00So I booked this tour thinking that it was the Train tour. Well well… it turned out that this minibus options were beyond better than taking the train. They took us to a historic tour in the city then we went to the mountains (same as those with the train) what makes this tour great is that they visit many places that the train can’t and also you will be stopping at the best views for pictures. We even crossed to Canada wow! Water Falls, lakes on top of the mountains, welcome to Alaska sign, city view from over the mountains, all of that included! I am happy of having made the mistake of booking this option :)
