Our Base Voss / Myrkdalen with an annual snowfall of around five metres, it makes a great alternative for ski touring.
Do you get your skiing kicks from exploring untouched territory, far away from well-prepared skiing slopes? In that case, you have come to the right place. Your options for ski touring adventure outside Bergen, the area of Voss, Myrkdalen, Nærøyfjorden, Kvamskogen and the Hardanger Fjord is just a short drive, or train ride away.
There are several peaks to choose from, there are off-piste areas suitable for the experienced skier or for the beginner.

5.00Thomas was our guide and we had an incredible time. He spent several days in the area ahead of time to assess conditions and pick the best option for the day. Even as experienced skiers, his expertise was invaluable and gave us a great understanding of the local mountains. Upfront of the trip, communication was great and we felt very confident in the logistics. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality and safe backcountry experience

5.00This was an excellent experience, Frank was a great teacher, he made us feel like friends and instructed us through the experience in the best possible way. This would be an excellent activity for all levels of fitness and knowledge regarding skiing. Just leave it to Frank and you will enjoy your day!

5.00Very good introduction courses in skid protection, equipment that is good to have with you, walking technique and the assessment of the terrain etc. Teaching courses with both theory and practice.

5.00We had an excellent 1-day randonee intro course with Frank. Weather was great, though snow conditions could be better - but Frank is a very knowledgable teacher and the course was just what we needed. Highly recommended.

5.00I would like to thank Frank very much for organising a substitute. We had a great time with our guide marcio. We undertook two skitours in really different areas what was very exciting for us, especially also after a tour the visit of a coffee shop close to a fjord. It was the first time in Norway in winter, but not the last time!
