Last Minute Schedule Changes and a Crawling Pace

2.00I would not recommend this tour. First, our tour time was pushed very last minute from 10:00 to 12:30, which impact our other plans throughout the day. Second, this tour was SLOW. In nearly an hour and a half, all we had done was make it barely to the first tower, there is far too much standing around and waiting. Multiple tour groups were passing us by. We ultimately decided to leave the tour group after the first tower and it was a great decision. We saw so much more at our own pace than we ever could have on this excruciatingly slow tour.

4.00Alhambra is a very nice place a must visit, guide is recommended if interested on history details and did not read about in advance however the tour its a bit slow with too many historical quiz that slow down the process, I personally prefer a quick detailed explanation and move on faster

5.00Great guide - friendly and knowledgeable. Steep climb up to Alhambra but it's an incredible place! Amazing history with beautiful architecture and gardens.
The guider I think her name was Sara. She wasn't only typical tourist guider. She looks after our safety .

5.00Sandra was a fantastic guide! She knew the info well and kept the group together well. They give the guide a microphone that transmits to a device they give everyone in the group that has a single earphone. You're able to hear what the guide is saying even if you're not right next to them, which is a super helpful idea. They stop several times for bathroom and water fill-up breaks. There is a gift shop we stopped at at the midpoint that also had some snack foods. Our tour was 3hrs 20 min. During the tour we entered 3 separate "areas" (Alcazaba, Palacio El parte, Generalize) that required a ticket. We were contacted to add on the Nasrid palaces, which we didn't do. Although, we did visit one of the Nasrid palaces during the "normal" tour, which I didn't expect (Palacio El parte). It was one of my favorite places in the palace complex. If you do the add-on it's a separate set of palaces (another "area") with a separate entry fee.
