Sondra was a fantastic tour guide. She told us just enough about history of Arabic/christian rule, and about social context for the monument. With lots humor, laughing. She made sure we were all together and gave us ample breaks. As a native of Grenada, she was proud of her city. The headsets were fantastic, made sure we could not only hear, but also knew when to come back. Sondra took us to most of the important places, though she quickly skipped by a Patio near the last stop that was really too wonderful to skip. Wish she had said goodbye inside to those who wanted to see more.

It’s a very nice morning walk with professional tour guide. Three hours is not enough to view the whole Alhambra. Lucky we can stay after the tour and walk around.

It was an amazing experience to visit a UNESCO’s Heritage Site , Alhambra. It was a bucket list for me for many years and became a reality this week. It’s very impressive to see an almost 800 years old historical wonder that’s still standing , well preserved and taken cared of by its people. It is truly one of Spain’s Crown Jewels.

Granada Play was one of the most disorganized tour companies I've encountered. We had failed to bring passports for the kids and were told by the unhelpful Granada Play office staff that they could not join. The guide said it was not a problem; we just needed to go through a different gate. Turns out it is not a problem for minors to come in without a passport. The actual tour was more like a quiz, where the guide constantly quizzed us and assumed in-depth knowledge of Spanish history, rather than telling a coherent narrative around the amazing place.
