Michelangelo's David as you've never seen it before. We will go through the life of the great genius of all times. I will have the pleasure of telling you all the secrets that hide behind the genius of Michelangelo and the giant David.
Our path will be on the Pietro Perugino Rafaello's master, Filippino Lippi. Domenico Ghirlandaio the master of Michelangelo in painting. We will walk through the history of the Medici and try to understand why the Renaissance was born in Florence. Why is the Medici family so important to Michelangelo? We will analyze Lorenzo the Magnificent and his brother Giuliano. At the Galleria del Accademia there is not only the Giant David..
Please remember that tickets are not included in the price, I will buy tickets in advance for you and you will pay me when you arrive in Florence before starting the tour. A ticket costs 24 euros, under 18 years old the ticket costs 4 euros but they must have an identity document with them. I can only take cash. Grazie

5.00Sara was a great guide, it was educational, amusing and really interesting. The food was so good and you do not need to eat or drink before you go! Not too much walking in between each venue. We were warmly welcomed at each venue and the food and drinks all arrived promptly. I was the only solo in a group of 13 and the only Brit, but everyone was so nice and friendly and we had such a giggle! Before this tour I did not like negroni but clearly they know how to make an exceptional one and I now love it!! A great first night tour for me in Florence and would highly recommended it!! Thank you Sara for a great time!

5.00This was a great quick trip in and out to see David and a few other paintings. We checked the box and saw the real McCoy. And, our tour guide did a good job of helping us see and understand more about Michaelangelo and his sculptures.

5.00This Skip the Line David Guided Tour was truly outstanding and one of the highlights of our trip. From start to finish, everything was seamless and incredibly well organised. Our guide, Claude, was exceptionally knowledgeable and brought the entire experience to life. His deep understanding gave us a real insight into the life and mindset of Michelangelo, which made seeing David even more powerful and meaningful. The way he explained the history, artistry, and significance of the sculpture was fascinating, and we came away with a much richer appreciation than we ever would have on our own. An absolutely unforgettable experience—highly, highly recommended!

4.00Guide was knowledgeable but the tour really only covered the sculptures of Michelangelo and nothing of the rest of the museum. Highly recommend skipping the line to save time.

5.00This was such a great experience, for two out of three of us it was our first time at this exhibit. The tour guide met us and handed us our earpieces, and we were able to easily navigate entrance in the tour process with them. I definitely recommend going this route for first timers!

1.00Started too late. Late arriving group threw us off. Spoke too fast. Trust your audience by speaking more slowly. Not always easy to understand.
