5.00Disclaimer: If you do the tour please make sure to wear clothing that is appropriate and do your hair. No hats or beanies allowed inside the church. This is my second tour with City Wonders and I am blown away by their organization. I love how our tour guide Michela over communicated with me about the tour details a couple of days prior to the event even started. Please arrive 20 mins as the directions in the event state. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Dodge’s Palace and St. Mark Basilica. She ensured a good walking pace that worked for the group and even scheduled a break. Please note if you want to buy souvenirs, use your break time to make the purchases because you will not be able to re enter Dodges palace once the tour ends.

5.00This was a great, very informative tour of the Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Basilica. The tour focused primarily on the Doge's Palace, including the Bridge of Sighs, and gave a ton of great information about the history both of the palace and the Doge system in Venice. Note that backpacks are not allowed inside the palace (they can be checked for free at the entrance)! One note to the provider - I would adjust the tour to end inside the basilica instead of outside of it. I would have liked to spend more time independently inside after the tour (since the tour time in the basilica was relatively short) but couldn't return afterwards.
