Disclaimer: you will be entering the Vatican museum during one of the busiest times of the day. While the tour provides skip-the-line access, the crowds in the museum vary from day to day and some delay with security can be expected (it would be misleading for other tour operators to not tell you this!)

Unforeseen events= The Vatican is its own country and therefore the Pope can decide also last minute to close St. Peter’s Basilica for ad hoc events. It is a very rare event during the year but it is possibile and we will do our best to inform you. If it is too late to inform you, our guide will extend the tour in the Vatican. Not to worry that the incredibile collection of Vatican Museums and the masterpiece of Michelagelo in the Sistine Chapel will still be included.
Most of our tours include the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. However, there are two specific options with different inclusions. You will find below:
Museums & SISTINE CHAPEL Tour – Includes the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel but does NOT include St. Peter’s Basilica.
ST.PETER'S BASILICA TOUR – Includes St. Peter’s Basilica but does NOT include the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.

Meet your tour guide at our office, located in the oldest neighbourhoods of the Vatican, Borgo Pio. Following a self introduction by your guide, you will walk through the charming shops of the Borgo, as he/she shares some local tips for eating and site seeing in Rome, including off the beaten track sites that you must visit during your holiday! Some background will also be provided on the history of the Sistine Chapel (we do it here as the chapel forbids noise and travellers are expected to observe silence once entering).

1.00We paid for this tour and let them know we had a scooter. When we finally found the place the tour was really bad. We followed along through the Vatican museum never seeing anything. Then they kicked us out of the group and said we have to go on our own then the chapel because we’re in a scooter. So we never saw the chapel and ended up at St. Peter’s on our own. Thank goodness the Italian are very good at helping disabled. This tour was a TOTAL ripoff.

1.00This was very disappointing considering the cost of this tour. The tour of the Vatican was very short (90 mins) and due to other events happening, we weren't able to visit Peter's bassilica. We were told we'd be able to visit it later that day ourselves. We did but we had to queue for 90 minutes so we didn't get the skip the line access we had paid for. We were given vouchers to visit another bassilica which was actually free to visit it anyway and there were no queues so the skip the line tickets we were given didn't compensate at all for the change in itinerary. Even if the tour had gone as planned and we'd been able to visit St Peter's bassilica, I still feel this tour was VERY overpriced. I paid a similar price for two other tours in other places in Rome which were significantly better - for the same price I had a full day trip to Pompeii with a guided tour and stop off at the Amalfi coast! This is the first one star I've ever given but I wanted to make sure others don't get dupes into buying this, it's not worth the money!
Skipping the lines is the way to go!

5.00It was absolutely worth the price to be able to skip those insane lines! Although it was crowded, our tour guide did an amazing job keeping track of us! He gave wonderful information throughout. A beautiful day in the Vatican!
