Disclaimer: you will be entering the Vatican museum during one of the busiest times of the day. While the tour provides skip-the-line access, the crowds in the museum vary from day to day and some delay with security can be expected (it would be misleading for other tour operators to not tell you this!)

Unforeseen events= The Vatican is its own country and therefore the Pope can decide also last minute to close St. Peter’s Basilica for ad hoc events. It is a very rare event during the year but it is possibile and we will do our best to inform you. If it is too late to inform you, our guide will extend the tour in the Vatican. Not to worry that the incredibile collection of Vatican Museums and the masterpiece of Michelagelo in the Sistine Chapel will still be included.
Most of our tours include the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. However, there are two specific options with different inclusions. You will find below:
Museums & SISTINE CHAPEL Tour – Includes the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel but does NOT include St. Peter’s Basilica.
ST.PETER'S BASILICA TOUR – Includes St. Peter’s Basilica but does NOT include the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.

Meet your tour guide at our office, located in the oldest neighbourhoods of the Vatican, Borgo Pio. Following a self introduction by your guide, you will walk through the charming shops of the Borgo, as he/she shares some local tips for eating and site seeing in Rome, including off the beaten track sites that you must visit during your holiday! Some background will also be provided on the history of the Sistine Chapel (we do it here as the chapel forbids noise and travellers are expected to observe silence once entering).

5.00Disclaimer: If you do the tour please make sure to wear clothing that is appropriate and do your hair. No hats or beanies allowed inside the church. Our tour guide Marco was awesome, accommodating, and made sure our group enjoyed the tour. Please keep in mind there are things that are out of the tour guides control. We had to do our tour out of sequence because St. Peter’s Basilica was hosting a mass in the morning that closed the church to the public. So we started with a tour of the church first and l am so glad that we did because we got to enjoy more time inside of the Vatican (which normally you would start before St. Petersburg Basilica). I would definitely do this tour again with Marco.

5.00Alessia was awesome! She explained everything so well and got us through the long lines so quickly. Would definitely recommend! Tip: bring food to eat because there’s not much there to purchase and you will spend multiple hours after the tour seeing everything

1.00Absolutely horrible company. I told them I’m genuinely sick and unable to go, and they still didn’t care. They don’t care if customers fall ill, they don’t care about basic humanity — all they care about is squeezing every last penny out of you. They could have easily deducted whatever fee they paid to the government and refunded the rest, but they chose to shut me down and refuse everything. No compassion, no decency, no responsibility. Just cold, money-hungry people hiding behind policies. Never book with them. When you truly need help, they will show you exactly how little you matter.

5.00My wife and I still talk about this experience. Our guide, Norman, was a wealth of knowledge and provided phenomenal insight into the rich/complex history of Vatican/Sistine Chapel. He created a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere and add to the wonder of the sites/location. Be prepared for large crowd but going through this tour group expedited getting through security/long lines. It felt that everywhere you looked was an artifact/slice of history overflowing with a story. Still can’t articulate how stunning the ceilings/architecture is. Recommend to everyone reading this to really respect the customs/expectations of Sistine chapel (no photos/lower voices). Just soak up the mysticism and sanctity of the structure. Highly recommend this experience to anyone venturing to Rome/Vatican!
