We were 4 adults on this tour and each and every one thought it's definitely not worth it. It's a waste of day and money. There are better things to do. Tour company just picks up and drop up. There is no guide. You are on your own. If you really want to go on a trail or train ,buy ticket by yourself and save money I have taken many viator yours, this is the worse.
An enjoyable day full of many experiences!

The beautiful morning skies turned into a very rainy day in the Kuranda rainforest - actually, that’s kinda perfect, yes? A relaxing morning ‘tea’ service ride up on the train; we walked into the village and took cover in the soulful, butterfly sanctuary - then got drenched headed back early to the Skyrail for the foggy, eerie trip down - but still all so beautiful! There is an extensive gift shop and covered areas to sit outside but we chose not to wait for our scheduled bus (1-1/2 hours later) so - after letting the tour company know we would not be riding back with them - we jumped in an Uber for $25 USD.

The views are spectacular. The guided tours very informative and interesting. This gave us more things to look out for which made the trip enjoyable.

Gold Class definitely worth the upgrade. Lots of fun with our host Ic. Plenty of refreshments & snacks for the entire train journey. Also opportunity for a classic photo👌🏼

It was a very beautiful experience. I truly enjoyed the tour from the minute I was picked up to the end and dropped off. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and I learned many things of the forest.

Dress for the weather and lots of walking in the village. Sensory overload work so many shipping choices. The Gold pass option is worth the money because the train ride gold is in padded chairs versus wooden bench seats, so more comfortable.

Really enjoyed the day, lovely drivers who were very informative and funny. Made everyone feel welcome. Did the Skyrail-ITM first and it was amazing. Train back and staff in gold class were really friendly and helpful. Only negative for me is the time spent in Kuranda between leaving the sky rail & boarding the train…. 4 hours is far too long! Could do with shortening a few hours.
Not quite “skip the line” but none the less very good.

Seat in gold class are allocated and so if you’re on the wrong side you don’t get the views. Make sure you leave time for cable car stops if you allocated that return journey.

This was a great experience. Plenty of time in Kuranda and the gold class ride back was a blast. Our server was really funny, kept our glasses full and had us ready for the photo ops. Gold class was worth every penny.
