Had an amazing time loved the sky rail and recommend the gold class train trip up or back ( i went sky rail up train back)

Absolutely worth doing. It's all about the transport elements. Skyrail is fantastic - great views and two intermediate stops to explore boardwalks etc. Train is brilliant too, but really recommend Gold Class (much comfier and lots of refreshments provided). The time in Kuranda felt a little long and the whole place did feel a bit like a tourist trap... We passed the time with a lovely ice cream though!

The Skytrain stops were very interesting with spectacular views! Kuranda is a friendly little tourist town with many shopportunities. The train ride back down was really fun - we highly recommend doing the Gold Service - and, again, the views were amazing. Aiko was a star attraction in our Gold Service coach, fun, fun, fun!! Adding the river boat tour was a highlight and our Captain was full of fun. Every service member that we encountered went above and beyond. A really great experience in every way!

The Kuranda tour and Skyrail/Railway was outstanding. The rainforest is breathtaking! Viator arranged for gold passes on railway and definitely the way to go.
