The Taj Mahal in person, an experience not to be missed. Our lovely tour guide was Shanu (I would strongly recommend) was informative & patient. We first decided to take family professional pictures outside the Taj Mahal followed by Shanu guiding us through. It wasn’t on our list but Shanu kindly took us to a local marble inlay art workshop, here we got deeper understanding of mable and gem stones. I would recommend visiting the Taj Mahal early morning to avoid the rush & the heat! Hats/caps fancy umbrella, water and sunglasses is a must. Shoe covers must be worn inside the Taj Mahal. Please note security measures are in place, expect your bag to be checked thoroughly before entering the gates. No food was allowed in, including sweets. Medication was fine, a GoPro without the case is fine our stick & GoPro cover was placed in the locker. Drinks & shoe covers were provided by Shanu & at the end of our tour we were gifted a magnet of the Taj Mahal. Thank You Shanu for truly making our trip memorable.

Our tour guide, Shanu, met us in our hotel lobby 20 minutes before the scheduled meeting time he was friendly and professional. He got us a tuk tuk which took us to the Taj Mahal Gates, which were less than 1 km away from our hotel. he handled everything, including tickets and taking photos of us. He was not pushy in anyway and was very warm, friendly and sweet. He took us through a few shops after our Taj Mahal tour, upon our request, not trying to get us to buy anything. He was an excellent tour guide, and I would highly recommend hiring him to see the Taj Mahal or anything else here in India.

We had an exceptional guide with great knowledge of the Taj Mahal and its history. A superb experience. It is highly recommended to go to the site as early in the morning as possible for example 5am to witness the sunrise. (And avoid the massive crowds!). Well worth our time. A life experience!
