We apologise, but we cannot accommodate children under 5 years old on our tours. Please note that if this policy is not followed, we will have to refuse travel without issuing a refund. Thank you for understanding.
Luggage Allowance: You're restricted to 14kg (31lbs) of luggage per person on our tours. This should be one piece of luggage similar to an airline carry-on bag (approximately 55cm x 45cm x 25cm / 22in x 17in x 10in) plus a small bag for onboard personal items.
Eilean Donan Castle – We reserve tickets for you. If you want to visit this attraction, please purchase your ticket whilst on tour.
Please note that Eilean Donan Castle will be fully closed from 23 December until 1 February 2026, so visits inside the castle will not be possible. In addition, the castle will be closed for weddings on the following dates: 1, 5, 8, 14, 15, 16, and 27 November. We may still be able to stop for photos during these times

5.00Eilean Donan Castle and the Isle of Skye are amazing places to visit....definitely worth seeing and soaking up the history of the castle and the beauty of the Isle of Skye and Portree... The tour was made special by our guide, Dave. He was informative... and just a really nice person, who made me think he enjoyed showing people what was in his own back yard. I learnt so much about the sites on the tour, I walked away happy.

5.00Very nice tour, the Isle of Skye is fantastic although unfortunately we spent most of the time on the coach, the winter days are very short and at 4 it is already dark while at 8.30 there is still no beautiful light so we could not see the Loch ness, however the coach was comfortable and the drive clear and nice

4.00We had a wonderful tour, albeit a long day (about 10 hours — shorter than advertised because of an amber alert owing to high winds and storm off the coast). Our guide, Nick, was excellent — very informative, witty, and knowledgeable. Our transportation was first class. We truly enjoyed a fabulous day — the sites are amazing and awe inspiring. The landscapes are so beautiful. We had a nice lunch in Portree as well. All in all a terrific day.

5.00Brilliant tour from start to finish, our driver guide Dave Mac was brilliant, full of knowledge, was amusing and chatty. Dave couldn't do enough for us, we visited everywhere on the trip that was listed and a little bit more. Well worth the money spent. Would highly recommend.

5.00Helen was a fantastic tour guide. She was hilarious with her jokes and wonderful stories. She made a 12 hour tour seem like a short day. I had such a wonderful time on the tour. We listened to Scottish music and had great fun. The bus was full but didn’t feel crowded. It was windy and rainy but I still had a great time. Wear layers and a raincoat! ;)

5.00This was an eleven hour tour from Inverness to visit the key sights on the Isle of Skye, Portree, Lochness and Eilean Donan Castle Our guide/driver Helen was one of best (if not the best) tour guide we ever had. Interesting histories, movie histories, great music and fun stories. She was also an efffctive, conscientious and safe driver at the same time. Simply made the time on this long 11 hour tour float by. Simply the best way day trip to get a great taste of the highlands, Portree and the Isle of Skye.
