This full-day tour will start in the heart of the Alps, where we will visit one of the largest natural attractions in Slovenia - Lake Bled. Besides the blue-green lake, we will be able to admire also the picturesque architecture of the Bled castle, which is built atop a cliff that rises above the lake. It is possible to reach the unique island in the middle of the lake using the traditional Pletna boat. Alternatively, you can decide for a leisurely stroll along the lakeshore, enjoying some of the most spectacular views of this picturesque lake. The road will then lead us to the Postojna cave, where we will observe one of the most famous karst caves in the world. While riding on the cave train, everyone will be fascinated by the cave's might and its karst phenomena. We will continue our trip and reach the unique and largest cave castle in the world - the Predjama Castle, which has been dominating perched high up in the cliff for 800 years.

Postojna Cave

In this excursion, we'll explore Postojna, where tourists will embark on a guided tour through the cave. This tour was so spectacular with the highlights being the Postojna Cavea. Absolutely amazing. Our tour guide Samke was so good providing some history and information on Slovenia. He had a great sense of humour. Would highly recommend the tour

We had such an amazing experience at Laje Bled, Bled Castle, Pistjona Cave and Predjama Castle. Nate, our English speaking guide, was polite, thoughtful and punctual- he was excellent. The small group environment made it a very personalised tour and Nate was very knowledgeable. We highly recommend this tour to others as it was fabulous to have the guided tour but also have time to do our own thing as well. PS the Bled Cake was amazing and a must try.

David did a fabulous job highlighting the tour without overwhelming us. The trip to Lake Bled was fantastic. The Predjama Castle was the best castle we have visited. David did a good job of prepping us for colorful past and the audio guide that came with the tickets were good. What more can you say about the Postojna Caves other than magnificent!

David was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable and passionate about Slovenia. Smaller group in a van for transport was a great way to see the sights and hear David's interesting information and enjoy his humour. Bled Lake, Predjama Castle and Postonja Caves are all incredible sights definitely worth visiting.

Did our second Viator tour in Slovenia today. It was a full day tour to Lake Bled and Postjona Caves. David was our tour guide for a small group tour. David was excellent. He is knowledgeable, shares his love of Slovenia, and was on every metric wonderful. Strongly encourage English speakers from around the world d the world come to Slovenia and do this tour. My wife and I especially thought Pistajona Cavea was our highlight of the day. Nature is awesome! Lake Bled, and everything else included in the tour was made “real” with David providing the “color” of the locale. Great job

David was an absolute legend of a tour guide! From the moment the trip started, he brought the perfect mix of humor, energy, and insight that turned a great tour into an unforgettable one. His passion for Slovenian history, culture, and geography was contagious — we learned so much without it ever feeling like a lecture. He also had a ton of fantastic recommendations for things to do and places to eat (seriously, the crème cake was our favorite!). Beyond all that, he’s just a genuinely kind and easygoing person. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide — this trip will stick with us for a long time!
