Jinshanling Great Wall
Pick-up at 08:00 a.m. from exit C of subway station Zhang Zi Zhong Lu of Line 5. It takes about 2 hours to get there from the meeting point in the city. You need to walk along the Great Wall by yourself. The English speaking driver will buy the tickets for you and tell you where to go. But you don’t need to worry about being lost because there is only one way going along the Great Wall, and the tower name is printed in each tower in English. The total hiking covers around 7-8 kilometers, about 3-4 hours. The hiking is a little bit strenuous. Meet the driver at the other gate at certain appointed time (time will be decided on spot), and drive back to the city directly. NOTE: Please take your passport with you and take some necessary food & drink.

5.00We (my boyfriend and I) were at the Great Wall for about 3 hours, more than enough time to enjoy the historic majesty of this worldwide wonder, especially during sunset time. We hiked from east to west, around 6 or 7km, going after the sun. The sunset was beautiful and the mountain magnificent! We took a lot of good pictures! It is a rather strenuous climb, and a must for good comfortable walking shoes. The section where we hiked (Jinshanling) is a challenge because the steps are of various heights and I found that climbing higher didn't enhance the expeirience. Our tour guide Zac was the best tour guide I ever met in China. He is very patient, knowledgeable, amiable, and also very sensitive to our feelings and request. We learned a lot of history and traditions about China from him. We felt so thankful and lucky to have him as our guide. Overall, this tour is the best choice I made in my China trip. I’ll definitely recommend Hello Great Wall travel agency and tour guide Zac to my friends.

5.00My family and I had a wonderful experience with Hello Great Wall for a Private Tour of Jinshanling Great Wall. Our guide Zach and driver Jackie were outstanding all through the trip! Zach was prompt, courteous, informative, accommodating and bilingual (in Chinese and English). Jackie was professional and we felt safe the entire way. For the first part of the tour, we hiked a little bit and had plenty of time to explore and walk around. It was really quiet on the Great Wall at that time. We didn’t see any other tourists. The Great Wall looked gorgeous in twilight! Subsequently, we had a sumptuous dinner in a local farmer’s restaurant. Everything was timed perfectly and went smoothly. We never felt rushed during our tour.

5.00It was really a five star experience with Zac and our driver Jackie. I will recommend Hello Great Wall tours to my friends for sure. We were picked up right after lunch time and it was really fast to get to Jinshanling Great Wall. It should be around 140km, but it took only 1 hour and a half. Thanks to Jackie, we had more time on the Great Wall. Zac was very patient and knowledgeable. We learned a lot of things about China’s hitory and culture from him. The sunset was amazing and there were only a few other guests on the Great Wall. We chose the right tour, and went to the right place, and had the right guide and driver! Highly recommend!
