Before you book, please search the Internet for the PADI discover scuba diving or SDI discovery dive medical questionnaire to avoid disappointments. A 'Yes' as an answer does not mean in all cases that you are not allowed to dive. Consult your doctor and bring a written permission with you.
Scuba diving is an exciting and demanding activity. To scuba dive you must not be extremely overweight or out of condition. Diving can be strenuous under certain conditions. You’re respiratory and circulatory systems must be in good health. All body air spaces must be normal and healthy. A person with hear problem, or who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, should not dive. If taking medication, consult your doctor before participating in this program.
After diving you are not allowed to fly for at least 18 hours.

This DISCOVERY DIVE experience is an afternoon activity from shore. The dive will be at Tres Trapi or Mangel Halto. Starting as from 2 pm with a clear theory and briefing part what will take around 30 minutes. After that, you receive your equipment like BCD, Regulator, wights, tank, mask and fins. Feel free to use your own mask and fins if you prefer. With your equipment you go into the shallow waters to do some skills to make you feel comfortable. If so, we take you to the deeper part to show you the amazing underwater world. With the non-certified divers our PADI and SDI instructors a take max. 2 divers per instuctor.

5.00I'm a certified diver but my wife had never dived before. Alfonso took the time to be very patient with her. We had a great time. It was nice to get a bit of a refresher course as well. Highly recommend for any beginner. It was a great way to see Aruba from a different angle.

5.00I was picked up at my hotel Wind Creek Aruba by Alfonso and driven to the beach. This for non-certified divers. Both instructors are people able to certify divers. This an abbreviated version of a certification dive not a real certification dive. Steve did a great indepth safety lesson. Explained in detail all of the concepts and physics of diving. I was diving with Alfonso. He’s fantastic. We did some scuba basics in shallow water first. Adjust the pressure in your ears, adjusting buoyancy. and hand signals. We were under water for 45 mins. I saw a small octopus, sand dollars and a star fish. At least 3 huge schools of fish that surround me. One school of small silver fish was so dense it was like swimming into a fog bank. I actually lost track of Alfonso for a minute. i saw one green back turtle at least three times. Once swimming and two times when he was on the bottom eating sea grass. Really great experience.

5.00Great diving site wirh turtles, sea of fish like sardines, a bunch of fish I can’t name and then some, like snakes and eels. Gorgeous dive was borderline asking myself if it was a VR experience but it’s real! Kudos for the patience to the i director to us newbies.

Great dive experience, but water entry/exit were a little challenging

5.00The gear was heavier than I remember from previous dives. Access to the water was via a rocky set of about 6 wet and slippery "stairs" and was hazardous. Surf was rough and made the final gear donning a challenge. It was the same way coming out. Perhaps use of fiberglass tanks would lighten the load, but access/egress conditions come with that particular dive site. The instructor did say that diving off a boat would have been less of a challenge. The dive was a great experience. Lots to see with the reef and its variety of sea life.... turtles, crabs, colorful and interesting fish, sea urchins, and a Moray Eel. This was the most I have seen underwater in my diving career of maybe 5 dives. Richard was a very professional and experienced dive-master and was very accommodating to the new diver on our trip, helping her to properly document the experience. The equipment was all in good shape and everything needed was provided.

5.00It was an amazing experience. The instructor, Nicolas, were great. He helped us all along, even helped with the gear so that my wife did t have to carry it. Our group was just the two of us, so, it was amazingly personalized. They even helped me prior to the experience, because I thought we couldn't be able to do it. Very important, as the info says, check the diving forms and ASK about any doubts you may have. It's not super demanding but it can be taxing on your stamina. Don't be afraid to try it, it's super safe.

5.00Everything was very good. The guides very attentive and very friendly. I quite liked the initial exercises to properly manage the equipment, as they helped make the experience safer. Even in the mask I was getting water when we were doing the initial exercises, so they helped me change it and until I felt ready and safe with the mask we did not start the tour. The whole tour was good and quite quiet. We saw turtles very close and some variety of fish. Highly recommended.

5.00The experience was incredible. Nico was our guide and he was amazing. He walked us through safety, equalizing, breathing and everything clearly. He made us feel comfortable and took us around under water for about an hour. We saw all sorts of different fish and a turtle.

5.00The experience was great, this was my first time diving and the instructors were very patient and helpful. After the intro we were diving for quite a bit and saw a lot of marine life. 10/10 experience overall definitely recommend!
