On this full-day guided tour from Siena, discover the cellars where these incredible wines age, meet the local producers, and learn about the passion that goes into making this wine. Enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch at a winery and spend time relaxing at your leisure in the village of Montalcino before exploring the mystical abbey of Sant'Antimo. Visit a total of three wineries in the region, tasting unique creations at each one.

Meet your guide in front of the church of San Domenico in Siena at 9:30am and travel south to the famous wine hill of Montalcino. Enjoy a first stop at a small winery, walk along the rows of vines, explore the cellars and learn about the different barrels that can be used to make this 5-year old, prestigious wine. Enjoy an introductory tasting of the famous Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino wine and contemplate its complexities and legendary aging potential. Visit the hill town of Montalcino, the fortress where the brave soldiers of the Republic of Siena made their last stand against Florence and the town's squares and streets. Be welcomed into a family-run winery, meet its owners, winemakers or workers and take a visit around the farm before sitting down to enjoy a traditional Tuscan meal accompanied by the farm's delicious wines. Enjoy a brief visit to the mystical Abbey of Sant'Antimo, a church that was once part of a large Benedictine monastery and enjoy its peace and tranquility. Visit a third winery to deepen your understanding of the wine making processes and sit down for another tasting of this nectar of the gods before the comfortable drive back to Siena.

5.00My two daughters and I had the absolute pleasure of going on a Brunello di Montalcino Wine Tour from Siena with our guide Georgia on the 20/1/2026. The tour was nothing short of amazing. Georgia was the best guide we could have ever asked for. She is a wonderful person and her knowledge of the region, the wines and the wineries is awesome. Georgia made the whole day an experience we will never forget. We visited three amazing wineries that are all owned by families in the region and tasted some of the most amazing wines we have ever tasted. the wineries visited were Pondere Le Ripi Paolvs Terre Nere We are from Perth Western Australia and have on our doorstep the magnification wine region of Margaret River. We are spoilt with amazing wines at home. The wines of Brunello Di Montalcino are just out of this world. The families at the wineries we visited treated us like family. We sat with them in their homes and cellars for an intimate tasting of there amazing wines. It is the best wine experience we have ever had. Georgia if you are reading this Camryn, Steve and Molly will never forget you. Thank-you for everything and if you ever visit Western Australia we would love to see you again and introduce you to some wines from Western Australia. You are truly an awesome guide and we appreciate your knowledge and the time you spent with us. 5.00Giorgia was an excellent guide to the best wine we experienced in Italy! She was full of interesting facts and history of the region. It made the experience lively and educational. She made sure all in the tour were included in conversation and all of us had a great time! Our favorite winery was Fattoria del Pino with winemaker Jessica!!! All the wineries were excellent including our lunch by Gianni Bernazzi. Thank you for an amazing experience! Grazie!

4.00Mattia was the absolute best guide, very knowledgeable and just funny and engaging. The first tasting was good, the second one+lunch was outstanding and the 3rd one was just your standard tasting in a large winery. The other visits were good and overall we had a good time

5.00This was an AMAZING experience!! We spent all day tasting high quality wine at very small family vineyards and enjoying authentic Italian food made in their kitchens. Our guide, Mattia, was so great! He was knowledgeable (a wine-maker himself) and SO funny! Our group was small (8) and we became fast friends. We cannot recommend this tour highly enough!!

5.00Absolutely wonderful! October 24th 2025, Brunello tour to three wineries. Plus a short visit in Montalcino, and the Abbey of Sant'Antimo. First to Fanti, they were very informative about the process, started with olive oil tasting plus five wines, then off to Bellaria for lunch (which was the best food I had in Italy), with three of their wines to taste then to Terre Nere for a tasting selection of their wines. We had an amazing tour guide /driver who was knowledgeable, enthusiatic and welcoming to a small group of strangers. We had originally booked for a Chianti tour, but there were not enough people signed up so we were offered a full refund or a booking for this tour on another day. So glad we did this tour and would highly recommend it!

5.00We had a great experience. Our guide/driver was incredibly knowledgable being a former winemaker himself. Wineries had stunning views and excellent wines. There were even two stops to see a small town and beautiful church. Highly recommend!

5.00This wine tasting trip was amazing. We were able to learn a lot about the history of the region- not only how it relates to wine- but more! Italy’s slow food concept is not forgotten in wine making. We learned about process, the “why” of it all, and just how families are confusing on in tradition. Don’t miss the Olive Oil!! Just wow! Perfect lunch paired with wines. And options to ship home if you can’t fly home with your goodies. Cin cin!

5.00This tour was wonderful. Our guide, Guillermo, was informative and had so much historical and anecdotal information to share. 10/10!! We visited multiple wineries and interacted with the proprietors and/or family. Lunch was exceptional.
