Traveling by private car and on foot this tour explores a number of the evening street food markets around Chiang Mai city, Thailand trying out some northern Thai delicacies and learning how to order food in Thai. All food, drinking water and transport to and from accommodation is provided in the price.

The tour starts when our local tour guide pick you up at your Chiang Mai accommodation in the early evening, the exact of which will be communicated to you. Once the group, maximum 8 people, is together we start our exploration of Chiang Mai's famous street food markets, learning the secrets of what makes Thailand's street food so famous. Practice ordering your dishes in Thai, with the help of our leaflet detailing the most popular street food dishes. This tour visits at least two evening markets, and you'll get to try at least 8 different dishes including Kannom Jin (Chinese noodles), northern Thai delicacies, stewed pork leg, coconut dumplings, a mix of savoury and sweet. Please ensure you come along hungry. Once you have had your fill, we will drop you off again at your accommodation at approximately 9:30 -10pm. Please note there may be an additional surcharge to provide transportation from outside Chiang Mai city, and the tour lasts between 2.5 – 3 hours depending on the size of the group.

5.00We had such good fun on this tour and tried food we would never have tried and tasted on our own. Also we were in places all over the city which only a local would know and have the ability to take us to. I’m quite fussy and didn’t think I’d eat much but I did! We were in a group of 6 but got on well with the other couples despite them being quite a lot younger than us but that made it fun! An experience we’ll never forget.

5.00We like to do a food tour when travelling and this was one of the best A fabulous, memorable evening led by Jay who was caring, knowledgeable and fun The tour flowed effortlessly as we sampled food in 3 different markets and by the end of the evening were completely full of many different foods from different regions of Thailand. A great group of five from three countries who bonded quickly The tour has given me more confidence to eat in the markets encouraged by brilliant Jay. I really recommend this tour. Communication before hand was faultless We missed out on the whiskey as it was election night and the sale of all alcohol was banned

5.00This was a fantastic evening fully worth the price that included a worry free pick up in a very nice suv from our hotel. We were a small group of 5 and immediately clicked. Our tour guide Jay was efficient, funny, and took care of all our needs from finding tables, water, cutlery, napkins, he was on it. He always explained the ingredients and taught us how to order dishes in Thai...which we had to put in practice at one of the food stands. The food: so much variety and plenty of it. We were all very full by the time dessert round came. There must have been 12 dishes and 6 different desserts ..we had to take some home. I would recommend this hands down. Took away the hassle of knowing where to go, transportation/parking, seating...and also no waiting in line. Thanks Jay!!

5.00Great tour with a ton of food. I really enjoyed the tour as we went so many places. I wouldn't have found these on my own. The tour was in a minivan so we were able to cover multiple areas. Highly recommend this tour!
