Join us on a small group, 11.5-hour tour from London to a Cotswolds Village, Bath and Stonehenge. Travel in luxury aboard one of our top of the range minicoaches, accompanied by one of our expert, friendly and passionate guides for the day and experience the best that England has to offer. We'll visit the 13th century village of Castle Combe in the Cotswolds, the spa city and UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath, and of course the world famous, mysterious pre-historic site of Stonehenge. Maximum of 16 guests per tour for a small group experience.

Val. The best tour guide

5.00We had the best tour. Val was a truly amazing guide , she was very knowledgeable about every location we visited, Stonehenge was a great first stop,we were lucky enough to see a ritual dance by a group dressed in ritual clothes . Val gave us the full history lesson from years before stonehinge right up to the modern day findings( dont want to spoil it by revealing her stories). Bath was beautiful , we chose to go to the Roman baths and then we did a short walking tour with our guide, again Val gave us great history lessons of the buildings, the roman baths and Mary Shelley. We visited a quaint village in the Cotswolds where we indulged in the local beverages. The tour was excellent value for money .We saw so much however more importantly we learned so much from our guide Val . We had some fun on the bus home listening to rock music .

5.00Stonehenge was great, Bath had awesome architecture, Castle Combe was a cute village but not lively. Val our guide was full of energy and provided a lot of history.

5.00You might worry that 5 hours on a bus there and back is too long to spend to see Stonehenge. But what you don’t realise, is that you will be entertained the entire time and also have a comprehensive knowledge of ancient British history by the time you get back - thanks to Val’s enthusiasm and genuine passion for history and British culture. What a day! Loved it. Thanks Val and the team.

5.00To start - I do not impress easily - We had Lucy as our Driver / Tour Guide - What an amazing experience it was for my wife and I. Lucy made the experience even better. Knowledgeable, exceptionally funny, very experienced and very, very informative. Lucy addended to all of our needs, answered all of our questions as if it was the first time she heard our questions. 5.00Amazing tour guide in Val. (We also had a good looking guy on the tour assisting her but I can’t remember his name. Apologies to Mr. Good looking.) Val was talkative, knowledgeable and entertaining as hell. The bus was small enough to fit through the narrow streets in Bath and the secret location. It was clean and actually had great leg room (and I’m tall!) I can’t recommend it enough. By the end of the day you’ll want to hang out with the tour guides and become friends. They were both that cool.

5.00Val was the most amazing tour guide and skilled driver for our 12+ hour tour. She regaled us all with history and stories which were never boring, as we navigated the small and winding country roads. We went up close to Stonehenge, wandered the quaint streets of The Cotswolds and ended the day with a tour of the Roman Baths and a pub dinner in Bath, with newly made friends from afar on the tour. I highly recommend this day trip—definitely ask for Val, as she is a fantastic tour-guide de force—one that I will always remember, and one that would be hard to beat. Thank you Val!

5.00We had an amazing day touring Castle Combe, Stonehenge, and Bath with The English Bus. Our guide, Cara, was absolutely exceptional — lively, polite, professional, and full of energy. She shared fascinating historical insights at every stop, making the journey both educational and entertaining. Cara’s storytelling brought each location to life, and her sense of humor kept everyone engaged throughout the day. She also made us feel very safe and comfortable with her excellent driving skills, even on the narrow country roads. This tour was a perfect mix of history, beauty, and fun. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend The English Bus and Cara for anyone visiting London
