This tour combines two of Southern Utah's most popular activities: exploring scenic slot canyons and horseback riding. You will not find any tour in Southern Utah that allows visitors to experience both of these exciting activities at the same time!

Zion National Park is famous for it's beautiful Slot Canyons. Photographers and travelers are constantly on the search for these incredible land formations. This backcountry canyon is free from the crowds of Zion, but offers the same beauty. And guests get to experience on horseback!

The weight limit for this activity is strict at 220lbs. All guests must understand English. First, we will climb into the saddle at the stables and conduct a brief riding lesson for the inexperienced riders. No need to worry if you are a beginner, we have years of experience and reserve the best trained horses for our guests. In fall and winter months, be prepared for cold weather! Make sure you bring hats, gloves, coats, etc. to keep you warm while you enjoy the tour. Following this introduction the ride will continue toward the mouth of a slot canyon. After about 25 minutes, riders will dismount and have the opportunity to continue up the canyon on foot as it gets too narrow for the horses to continue. The canyon continues, with several small obstacles to maneuver past. Eventually, the tour will return back to the stables on horseback.

Short but sweet; enjoyed the ride and walking into the slot canyon. Saw mountain lion and mule deer tracks. Tim did a great job.

This was the second time for us to do this same horseback ride tour. The horses are great and well taken care of. The guides are extremely friendly and make conversation along the way which helps the newbies relax.

Our guide, Jacob, was very safety conscious and gave appropriate instructions for riding the horses. He had a great sense of humor. He was also gentle with the horses yet firmly in command of them. The best part of the ride is when we dismounted and walked through one of the slot canyons. It was beautiful and magnificent.

My son and I went on the White Mountain horseback ride and had a lot of fun. We were nervous about riding since we have never been on horses before. These horses know what to do which made it easy for novices like us. Our guides Carly and Jason were excellent and made the experience more enjoyable. Whether it was helping to make sure we were comfortable or taking pictures of us, they were available, friendly and attentive

We had such an amazing time horseback riding with East Zion White Mountain Horseback Riding! Our guides, Jacob and Trav, were incredible—so knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Jacob shared some really cool facts along the way that made the ride even more memorable. The views were absolutely beautiful, and the horses were wonderful—Yeller was the perfect match for me, and my sister loved riding Doc. It was such a cool and unique experience, and we’d do it again and again! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!
