Travel from San Juan in an air-conditioned vehicle and explore El Yunque’s lush trails with your certified guide. Learn about the rainforest’s history, culture, and wildlife as you make your way to the river. Enjoy natural waterslides, rope swings, and crystal-clear pools with high-quality helmets and life jackets included.
Unlike other El Yunque tours that can last 7+ hours due to crowds and long waits, our strategically timed 5.5-hour experience avoids delays. In the afternoon tour, you may see other groups, but never long lines or chaotic bottlenecks.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
IMPORTANT: Our activity is designed for people between (10 and 60 years old) with good physical condition. You have to be able to walk by your own in uneven surfaces. For safety reasons, people who are overweight, have previous injuries, are pregnant, or have health problems are not allowed to participate. Evidence of age via license or birth certificate will be required to ensure compliance with these requirements. Furthermore, no exceptions or refunds will be made to those who fail to comply with these conditions.
Participants must be physically capable of walking thru steep, rocky, muddy and uneven surfaces without assistance.
This tour operates based weather and river conditions. In the event of poor weather, you will be offered an option to reschedule or refund.
Use of lifejacket and helmet is mandatory.
On Saturdays the hike is around 15 minutes longer since we depart from a different point.
Tours Hacker reserves the right of admission - If a person appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, not following instructions, causing disruptions, or providing false information, such as lying about their age, the guide has the right to cancel their reservation at any moment. In such cases, no refunds will be issued. We prioritize the safety and enjoyment of all participants and expect honesty in all aspects of the booking process.
Persons with the previously listed health restrictions cannot participate on the tour. No refunds will be authorized if a person neglects to read complete description and does not meet the safety requirements and limitations on the day of the tour.
Personal Belongings Policy for the Rainforest Excursion: At our Rainforest Excursion, the safety and experience of our guests are our top priorities. Due to the nature of the activity—which involves hiking, water contact, and constant movement in a natural environment—we strongly recommend that participants do not bring any personal belongings unless absolutely necessary. While we do allow the use of prescription glasses for those who need them for vision, all other personal items should be left in a secure location before the excursion.
Liability Waiver: Our company is not responsible for the loss, damage, or misplacement of any personal belongings during the excursion. We understand that the nature of the tour involves activities that may increase the risk of losing items, such as walking on uneven terrain, swimming in the river, sliding on rocks, and jumping into the water. If a participant chooses to bring personal items, they do so at their own risk. We will not be able to stop the excursion to search for lost items in the forest or river. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring that everyone enjoys a worry-free experience.

San Juan
To begin our amazing adventure our guide will pick you up at your preferred hotel, resort, residence or airbnb in San Juan, Isla Verde and Condado (Although hotels in Rio Grande or Fajardo may not qualify, we can arrange a convenient meeting point near your accommodation for your ease and comfort). The schedule will be from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm or from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Both schedules have been strategically chosen to beat the crowds created by the large groups of other companies to make it more comfortable and safer for you.
El Yunque National Forest
Upon arrival, our certified tour guide will lead you through this amazing secret spot of "El Yunque". In this area you will explore through the mud trails and lush green of the rainforest. The hike will take approximately 1.5 miles in total and will take approximately twenty minutes to reach the first bathing area and another fifteen minutes hiking on rocks to get to the water slide. We’ll spend around 2 hours inside the rainforest where we’ll be swimming, swinging from the rope like Tarzan, sliding down a natural waterslide, cooling off under the waterfall and jumping from different cliffs.

5.00From the pickup Arnel was very friendly and cordial, nice Van, we had a group of 10 the mountain ride was great scenery was beautiful. Rock, climbing got a little rough. Our guide waited for everybody to keep up tolerated, everything he had to do. We made it to the top extraordinary views from jumping off rock cliffs. To swinging off cliffs on a rope swing , incredible time by all water was beautiful, fresh enough to drink, our guide took care of everyone the whole day, told us stories about the area and it's plant life over all would rate it a 10 would recommend to anybody. Our Guide Arnel was amazing. 10 out of 10

5.00Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a short, easy visit with some moderate hiking. We left around 7am and were back in San Juan by 12pm. Pick up is convenient and the water slide, cliff jumping, and rope swing are totally worth it!! Mryllam was so helpful and encouraging - we really appreciated her knowledge of the plants and animals! Thank you for the awesome trip!

5.00It was such a fun excursion. Half a day with a small group was perfect and the tour took safety seriously with helmets and lifejackets. Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this tour.

5.00Exceeded expectations - Michael was spectacular! - safety first - both driving and offering a steady hand and guidance wherever a tricky step or slippery spot was. Also very glad we chose a company that provided helmets & lifejackets. -super knowledgeable - about the rainforest and its inhabitants, pointed out so many cool things -great vibe - adventurous and fun and brought out the same in guests!

5.00We went on an afternoon rainforest excursion with Michael as our guide. It was thrilling and very adventurous. There was cliff jumping and rope swinging involved as well. We were shocked at some of the terrain and climbing we had to do, but had a very fun time. There were other tours going on and we were in the smallest group and had helmets, which other groups didn’t have. Michael was a great guide.

5.00We had the most amazing experience on the Yunque tour with Myrllam! From start to finish, she made the entire day unforgettable. She was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. Her energy and passion truly showed throughout the tour. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time, shared so much interesting information, and made the experience both fun and memorable. The views, the adventure, and the overall atmosphere were incredible thanks to her guidance. If you’re thinking about booking a Yunque tour, I highly recommend Myrllam. You will not be disappointed! P.S. she also did amazing on taking photos of us because we left our phones in the car!

5.00Our tour guides were the best! They made us feel very welcome and took tons of pictures for us. We loved our small group as it made things more thorough and not as rushed. It was also the perfect amount of time where we didn’t get too exhausted. We definitely will be back!!
