El Yunque National Forest
Explore one of the most important diverse ecosystems in the United States. Experience the waterslide thrills and rope swing in this amazing ecosystem. Your tour begins with morning pickup from Isla Verde, Condado or Ocean Park. On arrival, follow your guide and get ready for a moderate hike. The scenic area leads to the inside of the Rio Fajardo, where you can enjoy the natural waterslide formation. This is the only Puerto Rican adventure hiking tour you'll need to take. You will feel like a local hiking in the forest. Join us for an in-depth, outdoor, off-the-beaten-path adventure to El Yunque. 5.00Gillian, our tour guide was amazing! She knew a lot of facts about the forest and helped us on difficult trails. She was super nice and we had great conversations. We did the rope swing, cliff jump and water slide - all of it was great! We had an amazing time! Be prepared to get your shoes wet and muddy, most of us wore old ones or bought a cheap pair of sneakers/hiking shoes the day before. You can buy waterproof phone cases at the entrance of the trail for 10$. One person in the group bought one, but water went through, so unfortunately we can’t recommend it. We recommend leaving everything in the car instead and only taking your water bottle with you. Gillian took pictures of us so we didn’t even need our phones. There’s also time planned to buy yourself lunch afterwards at a beach location. We can recommend this tour 10/10.

I learned so much about the local culture and natural habitat, and her passion for the rainforest truly shines through. This was one of the highlights of my trip — highly recommend both the tour and Adynn!

5.00Amazing tour! Our guide Adynn was super helpful throughout the hike and knew a lot about the rainforest plant life. The water slide and rope swings were very fun. We also got to stop at a great lunch place on the way back.

5.00I really wanted to go solo to el Yunque and spent a long time deciding whether I wanted to book a tour. I am SO GLAD I chose to. Louis couldn’t not has been better. He had so much knowledge about the history of the forest and stopped along the way to give us lessons. He never left anyone behind and made sure we all got to do whatever slide, cliff jumping, etc we wanted. Also, side note but just a great photographer in general. Everyone got pictures and videos to bring home. I went in sneakers, shorts, and a bikini and thought that was perfect. You can leave everything in the van so I wouldn’t expect to carry a pack. When you get up to the water pools, you don’t want to be worrying about watches, wallets, etc. if you bring a phone, it should be waterproofed. I cannot stress how good of an adventure this was. I also met some absolutely lovely people in my group. It is soooooo worth it. (I looked at reviews like this before I went and thought they were inflated. Look at me now lol). Anyways, a great day event, especially if you get lucky and have Louis.

1.00Cancelled by text less than 1 hour before the tour. Then took over 4 hours to respond to my request to reschedule. The times they offered after being given the option of contact me to rebook or give me a refund were unreasonable as well.
